This kit includes two 16" strips. Strips are encased in a silicone sleeve and have the highest waterproof rating of IP68. Each strip comes with a 5' wire lead. Strips have a super strong adhesive on them for easy install. (In some cases additional adhesive may be required.) Choose between a 9v battery box or a rocker switch. If your kayak already has a battery then you can connect to that battery and use the rocker switch to turn the lights on and off. If your kayak does not have a battery the 9v battery box may be a solution for you. While not waterproof the box is somewhat water resistant.

OMG! These lights are very bright, I would highly recommend ,only reason I gave it a 4 is because there are no instructions and I all most burnt my kayak down, luckily I look up a wire chart on a Web page ,and as for the 3mm tape ...like super glue very strong

Great for illuminating the water in front of the yak ...
Great for illuminating the water in front of the yak so you can tell if there is obstructions (dead heads, rocks, etc) coming up in front of you. Plus, in shallow water you can actually see fish and more importantly, bait fish. One thing I didn't like was the green light on the interior of the yak, so I pulled those out. They just didn't provide enough light to see well enough to tie rigs or deal with fish at night. The amber ones are much more conducive for interior lighting.

Awesome light!!!! Very pleased
Very impressed. I was worried about how bright the lights would be with a 9 volt battery but they are very bright. I have a 10ft kayak and put them on the front. Just ordered second set for side. You will not be disappointed. The tape backing is very strong so make sure you get them where you want them before taping. They will not come off. My order arrived in two days and made it earlier than expected. Great company.
