Based on the reviews of these running small I ordered two sizes. My boyfriend is 6'4 US army drill sergeant. He wears a 33-34 waist and the 34 fit perfectly. I will be returning the 36" that he didn't even need to try on. These do not run small. They are not elastic, so don't error on that. He also said (per my asking based on other reviews) that the mesh lining was comfortable. They look quite handsome on him.

This is a really great suit for the price. Shorts arrived quickly. When I opened the package, I was immediatly impressed with the vibrant colors and feel of the shorts. They are soft and they have a draw cord in the waist. This is a gift for my husband. We both love the polyester fabric that dries quickly. It feels soft and he finds it very comfortable to wear. As it is just winter here and we haven't gotten in the water yet, he really hasn't had an opportunity to wear them for swimming. I have already washed them once. They laundered very well with no shrinkage and did not wrinkle. I do not put swimwear in the dryer as they last and keep their shape and elasticity longer.

The shorts are definitely good quality, but were a little longer than I expected. It wasn't a defect or anything..... I ordered the next size thinking leg length would be similar to a 32" waist, but they ended up being longer. Not going to return them (still good board shorts) and will just have them hemmed shorter.

I purchased these for my 14 yr old grandson to swim in. He always wears a size medium in men's short and pants. This pair would not stay in place at all. I considered installing an additional draw string on the inside of the waist band, because they would not stay up. The fake drawstring on the front of the trunks does nothing to help keep them in place. The fabric is also thin and slippery. I would not buy these unless you want the world to be given a full frontal view.

Good fit. Dries fast.

My Fiance loves the design of this bathing suit and how it fits. The only concern of his is that the string does not go all the way around the waist so it is hard to tighten them but since the fit it fits so well its not a big deal for him. The material is great though and it dries so quickly!
