Nice case for big storage on Jetson Nano
This case is good for those that need big storage for the Nano. Three differences from most other cases are the Nano M.2 slot is used for the SATA controller, the drive is mounted inside the case, and there's no included camera mount. Fit and finish are good, but some care was needed when tightening the case screws. They're a little tight and the threads need to be chased. PWM cooling fan works well, although it's loud at full speed. Plan on adding the included resistor on the LED power indicator as it is really bright without it. Included instruction sheet directs you to the CMCTech website for a more complete pdf instructions. The pdf is clear and easy to follow. The directions were written for the A02 carrier. All the connections are on my B01 carrier but the header location is different. Included power supply works fine.Booting from SSD was easy. The SATA adapter board has an ASM 1062 SATA controller. My Jetson is running the Nano Developer SD Card Image and the kernel already had the ASM driver and AHCI was already enabled. Per the instructions, I disabled the kernel's PCI advanced error detection. My Samsung 840 Pro was properly recognized on bootup. Following the JetsonHacks USB Drive booting instructions, I prepped the SSD and copied the SD image. Even the initramfs has the controller support so I didn't need to recompile anything. Once the extlinux.conf file was pointed to the SSD, my Nano successfully booted from /dev/sda1. Drive performance is as advertised and no PCIe or SATA errors have been logged.

Good quality case with a few issues
The case is good quality but the fan didn’t work. You’ll probably need to refer to your Jetson documentation to get everything connected properly depending on your version.
