I was a little torn on how to review this. I bought it along with some FSBO signs, but this brochure box wasn't exactly equipped to work with those flimsy signs. It is really built for something slightly more heavy duty. But this review is about the box, not the sign it is mounted on. So that is why I am giving this 5 stars.The box is fantastic. It really is. I ended up using an older wire sign holder from a political sign and zip-tying it to it. That meant that the bottom of the box actually sat on the ground, which I thought might prove a problem. I loaded it up with flyers and figured I would roll the dice. I went out a week later and the remaining flyers were still in perfect condition even though it rained and snowed heavily over the last week. Bone dry and ready for the taking.So in short, totally worth it. Don't expect to hook it to an existing FSBO typical vinyl sign though. Grab a more heavy duty mount or a couple longer wooden stakes.

Nice box that looks nice.

This worked as advertised. I mounted it on a T-post. My house sold in two days so I didn't have it up very long. The only concern I had involved the wind and possible rain. The house was in Arizona in a very windy town. The lid kept blowing open, so I expect if we had received rain the sale flyers would have gotten wet. Fortunately, that didn't happen.

It is what I needed and will work well.

I manage apartments and have these outside with flyers, applications and maintenance requests for the residents easy access. They are sturdy and easy to install. I love they have a lid and they are easy to access.

This is a nice looking box and would be great if I was in West Texas or another arid climate. The front slides in from the top so wind can push rain around the edges of the front panel and into the box. There is a drain slot in the bottom of the front. I would laminate my flyers but that would make them 9" x 11.5" and even if I trimmed them down to 8 3/4" wide they still wouldn't come close to fitting in this box. The inside is just a little wider than 8 1/2", like only 1/8" wider. This is similar in design to my old box but not as wide. Plain flyers get wet. Mounting system is great for a 4x4 post.

So I was iffy on this due to some poor reviews, but I took a chance and it worked out great.I run a Christmas synchronized light show every year and I needed a place to put the brochures for all the area shows. I zip stripped this on a 4' green metal fence stake from the home improvement store in a Michigan winter. None of my papers got wet and had at least 50 papers taken. So for my purpose this worked great and was sturdy enough.
