Works well
Jenny Doan from Missouri Star Quilt Co recommended these markers to mark your fabric. After making a mistake with an ink pen while marking white fabric, I looked all over for a fine point black marker that was water soluble and I couldn’t find one or couldn’t afford it. I purchased these markers for a great price. Tried them on a scrap. The black took some washing with Dawn to get out and I washed it right away. I tried the grey and let it sit on the fabric for a couple of days before rinsing it in cold water and it came right out. No soap either. My fabric shown is done using the grey and it is plenty dark.

Washable alternative for kids dry erase markers
Dry erase markers for kids are not actually washable and stain everything, plus I was still having to use a wet wipe to remove it from the white board. I gave my daughter these markers instead, since I still have to wet erase the dry erase markers I figured I would try a regular washable marker. It works great, the marker washes off of skin and clothes and I can wipe down her dry erase board quickly with a wet paper towel. Way less mess than the dry erase markers in all ways.

Bought for sewing
I purchased these to mark my light-colored sewing materials after reading a reddit thread. Following the advice of one commenter I mark black, blue, brown, grey, and pink before prewashing my fabric. So far I have had the most success with grey and, surprisingly, pink.It is super convenient to use these as marking tools. The fine tip leaves precise, thin lines, and doesn't dull like chalk. Really wish I could use these on dark colored fabric; I would never use anything else again!

A classic for a reason!
I use these to mark darts (an other sewing notation) on my sewing projects. The variety of color means I can choose a contrasting or complementary color, and make very accurate tailoring alterations. Because these wash out so completely I don't have to worry about staining my fabrics. Love using these; they're handy to have on hand as an artist and crafter.

Washes out of fabric completely
I use these markers to mark my quilts prior to quilting. They are far less expensive than designated quilt markers. The best thing is the lines come out in the wash every time.
