I recently took up “Zentangling” after finding it online and one of the items the demonstrator recommended were these “tortillions” (had never heard of this word before) for blending pencil lead. They come in different sizes and are very easy to use. I think they will last for a bit (not sure yet tho) but regardless, the cost is very reasonable. I’ve tried “sharpening/cleaning” the larger size using an Emory board like sharpener for this purpose and they didn’t hold up as well as I had thought (this may be entirely due to “user error and my inexperience with it/them) so I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 (will update in the future). I definitely think these are worth it either way.

Good points. Quality. Better than other stumps as they "blend" & don't smear like "overworked" pulp. Rolled paper is better. I use these for eyes drawn with graphite and they give good detail and hold up very well.

Excellent value for the price! As a Zentangle artist I go through SO many tortillons. It’s great to get a large quantity at a great price!

These work better than other brands for my needs

I am a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) and I go through these tortillons like crazy. These are perfect. I will always have one when I need it and I can use different ones for different colors. Very pleased.

I use these for shading on Zentangle. I bought them previously from a local chain store and only got a few that I’ve been using even though they’re kinda worn out. This is a great deal and you get enough you don’t have to do that. Very pleased

I use this product for blending and shading my Zentangle tiles. I have enough to last me the rest of my life🤣

These are perfect for all drawing and sketching.
