Replaced original battery in my laptop that wouldn't hold a charge. This one works great

I used this battery to replace the worn out batter in my daughter's laptop. Seems to be charging ok. I would not have bought it if the "Made in China" statement were available when I ordered it.

My wife's Dell Inspiron 7570 was running hot, laptop fan was blowing full speed, and it would only run about 15min with the 2yrs old (?) original battery. Even when new, the lap top would only last about 2 hrs. I installed this replacement battery and the laptop is good as new! I was pleasantly surprised to see that the loud fan noise completely went away. And the fully charged battery shows a life of 2.5 hrs minimum, as much as 5 hrs if she's only web surfing.(Highly recommend to replace your old battery if it's running hot as this can be dangerous. Note that I did not run the battery down to 2% as commented elsewhere. I've read that too low a voltage can mess up the charging levels of some batteries/BMS. All I did was went a head and charged it to 100%, run the laptop on battery only to about 20-30%, then recharge again. It's important to do this for the first 5-10 times for the battery to keep a good charging level by my experience.)

It worked to replace our original Dell battery however, even using it after completely charging the battery overnight, it only last about two hours. I shouldn’t complain though since the original battery would no longer hold a charge. At least this allows us to use the laptop for an hour without worry of having to keep it plugged in.

I bought the battery in August. After installing the battery, the laptop operated smoothly. However, after 3 or 4 days, the laptop could not start up without the power kit, and the battery could not be charged anymore, and the laptop could be operated only when the battery charger is connected. It was thought the problem was probable due to some connection or motherboard problems. But after I send to a pc technician for examination. I was told that the battery is bad and does not contain any electricity. It is a bad battery. So, I wrote this message to see if the battery could be changed.As I am currently in China, I don't know if it is necessary to ship the bad batter to the seller.
