Works great! We used the teflon tape when assembling and have had no problem. It was hard to keep my kids from using it before filling the base with sand. Height is perfect for my 8 and 9 year old. Even the 15 year old put in a few wacks. This is going to be a great stress/anger release for my young son.Update: My son loves it! It's been a great stress/anger release. Would highly recommend it!

Very fun, however the screw on the bottom by base comes loose after a few minutes of punching. I picked up so 1/4 zinc lock washers for $0.15 and that took care of it. The top also comes loose but Tightens easily. My nephews love it though.

We bought this for my 6 year old son for Christmas. It adjusts and is the perfect fit for him and his 8 year old brother. It's sturdy, attractive and doesn't take up too much space. We filled the bottom with water and it stays put even with heavy abuse by its users. Its impossible to not walk by it and give it a whack!

Constantly unscrews itself due to flimsy and poor construction. At the bottom of the base there is a screw that when unscrews touches the floor and ruins your hardwood floor. I had to repair the floor when I caught it and installed a lock washer. Still need to check it periodically. The bolt is too low to the floor to be able to install any plastic cap on it. Also the pole is tilted about 5-10 degrees due to the design (not am item quality defect).
