I purchased a similar style skirt maybe 2 years ago from an upscale designer for about 3 times the price of this skirt. I bought black, blue and white two years ago. Now on Amazon, I find almost the same style, and may I say, same good quality, as I purchased from the designer brand. Now I am able to buy so many more colors. One of the reasons I love this skirt is because is is so EASY to wear, it is flirty, cute, and Lordy or Lordy does is slim. I looks fabulous on. It is long, so I decided to cut mine and make it shorter, You can cut under any ruffle and there is no shredding or hemming needed and then instantly you have a shorter shirt . . . if you want. I did the same with the 3 expensive brands I bought. I now have 6 of these skirts in all different colors and I LOVE THEM!! I will probably order a couple of other colors. It is soooooooo worth the money and remember . . . you can easily make it shorter if you don't want a maxi skirt. I promise you will love it. Fabric is stretchy and moves a lot, which really adds to the cuteness!!

When I put the skirt on I was pleased with the way it looked and the way it fit and was initially well pleased with the product. Then when I sit down and shifted I heard threads popping....again didn't think much about it until it continued to happen. Several of the ruffles were coming off the skirt the thread was breaking with no pressure. My four year old granddaughter ran her hand across one of the ruffles and her just touching it lightly caused some of the thread on the ruffles to break. I was worried that if I wore the skirt I would get out in public and some of the main threads would break. I sent it back. Not sure if I will get a refund or not but unless someone resews the seams with good thread I would be scared to wear it in public.

Love these skirts! You would think horizontal ruffles would make a person look larger but these skirts are amazing! They actually make a person look smaller! So comfortable too. The sellers are a pleasure to deal with. Very happy with my purchase.

I was having a hard time finding a long, black skirt. Ordered this ruffled skirt and was so pleased I immediately ordered another in burgundy. I found the sizing a bit confusing so let me see if I can help others. I'm 62 years old, usually a size 12 (31" waist, 41" hips), 5'6", flatish stomach, heavy legs. The large fit me really well, snug at the waist but not tight...skims over the hip and thighs...shows none of my lumps and bumps. This skirt really does make me look thinner than I am. The material is a medium weight I'd say, feels a bit like crepe, dressy enough for work & church, quite comfortable. Makes me feel pretty and feminine.

Beautiful skirt! I am normally a medium (size 10) this skirt fit snug but not too bad and the material is very stretchy and the ruffles help hide the snugness around hips/rear. So it works for me!! Nice dressy skirt, I wore the red to church and my sister complimented me and wants one! Would love to see this skirt in more colors like teal, turquoise, Hunter green, coral and polka dots!!

This is a gorgeous skirt - very flattering. HOWEVER - they sewed it with a straight stitch...on stretchy fabric..as soon as you try to sit, move etc - those stitches will POP. For the price of the item, it is a disappointment that I have to re-sew every ruffle with a stretch stitch so it doesn't fall apart. Unless you are willing to fix it yourself, or do not plan on getting in and out of your car, sitting or moving - making it stretch at all - don't waste your money. Its a shame because it is a beautiful skirt.

They used a strait stitch instead of a stretch stitch on the skirt ruffles, so it ripped the first time I put it on and sat down. Otherwise I will be hand sewing the rips in the skirt as they appear and continue to wear the skirt. If you are willing to hand sew the rips if they appear I recommend these skirts. If you are connected to the manufacturer please notify the sewing crew that they need to use a stretch stitch on the skirt frills as the regular stitch does not stretch thus rips.

Shipment was right on time. Excellent quality for the price. This layered skirt Dare to be Stylish is. An Amazing fit that makes anyone look very slim. Beautiful. I highly recommend to friends ,family&all customers. You will not be dissapointed. 😁
