Tested them this past weekend. They fit a five gallon bucket perfectly. They don't immediately start to dissolve; I kept one in a bucket for several hours before I disposed of it. They are thin. Obviously you have to be careful when you open them up and when you dispose of them. Being biodegradable, I didn't expect a heavy plastic bag that I could toss around. However, I kept a regular kitchen bag in the bucket first for insurance while testing them and I probably will as a rule. I'm completely satisfied with the purchase.

We are avid and experienced outdoors people and we were looking for a way to meet our biological needs in the wilderness while adhering to the credo of “leave no trace.” We had tried compostable bags before, but found that they were so compostable that they started composting in our pack and were unusable by the time we needed to use them. Not so with the Trail Essentials toilet bags—they traveled just fine inside the included travel case and allowed us to do the same thing that the bears do in the woods with less impact on the environment than the bears make. Not only that, but we discovered that we can also use them with the porta potty in our off-road teardrop camping trailer when boondocking off grid. These work well for our 5 gallon bucket portapotty. Just the right size and work well.Comes with convenient pouch as well. They are biodegradable as well.

Very sturdy and even comes with a portable zipper pouch for the bags would recommend to anybody for camping also fit great on portable toilet

I have purchased these compostable bags for emergency preparedness. Here in the Northwest we do what we can to prepare for emergencies. I am glad to have purchased these as an earth friendly addition to facilitate my bucket! They were on my bucket list.

Just the thing for van life in the Covid pandemic. Very strong and easy to manage. We have a Pota-Potty Curve in our van but never used it for #2. We were able to place the bag inside and then close it up and carry out in the woods to bury.

Loved these. Used them for camping after I bought a toilet seat/chair because I hate having to squat in campsite bathrooms and I HATE using the toilets with the long drops.

I purchased the product for evacuation purposes (we live near the Florida coast) to work with a folding portable toilet seat. I am happy to report that we have not been put into a position where we needed to use the product but it appears to be sturdy enough for the task and fits the portable. It’s nice to have something that will require very little space but will do the “job.”
