Not so happy, the words on this supposedly uplifting calendar are not what you'd expect. This is more appropriate for someone in a very difficult place. One quote: "When something bad happens, the momentary disruption in your life seems irreparable when you are looking at it with a defeated attitude. Life's troubles are meant to toughen you, THEN PASS THROUGH. They will not stay permanently without your personal invitation." Seems more appropriate for a motivational lecture, and not good out of context as a quote. I did not feel uplifted reading these, rather reminded that things can get bad, and luckily my life is pretty good right now. I love the illustrations, though.

I've been using this calendar for a few months now. I read previous reviews that the sayings that overlay the art were full of typos in older editions. That isn't the case with this one, however. I like the bright colors and the fonts that they used, and the paper is glossy. The pages are nice and centered, and numbers are easy to read, at least from a few feet away. Lots of room to add activities on the date squares; holidays are printed in minuscule font.The paper could be a bit thicker with this calendar; the pages are tearing at the top, where the nail holds it up. Also, the whimsical paintings are nice, but they don't seem to really speak to me. They are very simple, which I guess is what some people are looking for. But I thought they would have a bit more detail.I think the sayings on the paintings are supposed to be inspirational, but they seem to hit a negative note for me. The one for April starts, "When something bad happens." March starts with, "To shed a tear." January touches on "despair" and February was, "Some thoughts can be harmful to your happiness." I probably wouldn't make this purchase again.

Pictures are nice but I was quite disappointed in the poetry. If it's inspiration you're looking for, this isn't going to do it. These are quite negative and not positive and uplifting like the Positive Outlook site that linked me to this calendar.

This calendar is whimsical - but not in a cheesy way. I enjoy the inspirations and the artwork. Just what I need in my office cubicle at work.

This is a beautiful calendar with plenty of space to write. I have this hanging in my classroom for now, and I plan to laminate the pictures to use as posters later.

Great and great for gifts. Now discontinued

This is the second year that I have bought one of these calendars. I love it!

Bought for a friend as a Christmas gift. She said she loves it, and the pictures are bright and inspiring, certainly went down well as a gift.
