Callaway RAZR X Black Graphite Driver

I'm quite happy with the RAZR X Black driver and I gained some distance. Still, believe there is more to get out of it with some more training on the range in terms of better timing in my swing.One thing that reduces my happiness, is the fact that the edge between the face and the upper head of the club was scratched after the first 10 drives or so. It seems that the surface, exactly on the edge, doesn't stand a ball hit. Strange for a golf club that is supposed to handel golf balls.

I bought a Complete set of Nicklaus golf clubs from Costco years ago and the clubs have been fine since I'm not very good and I hadn't played very much while I worked a full time job. I am currently 60 years old and recently retired so I am spending more time playing golf. I have been taking lessons from a pro and one of his suggestions was to get a different driver that was at least 12 degrees and had a senior shaft. I found the Callaway RAZR X and what a vast improvement in my drives. He was right. The senior shaft and the 13.5 degrees made a significant difference in my drives. This club knocks the balls out of the park. And the price was unbelievable. I figured I would take a $60.00 chance on this club and I am glad I did. The only problem is, now I want my whole set to have senior graphite shafts. I believe I will take a chance with the Precise AMG set I saw here on Amazon for $300. However, unless the driver that comes with the set is better, I plan to keep using this Callaway.

Hey all,I really love this new driver- Im a beginner golf player, I have been playing for about 6months and really been taking it seriously. I am a high handicap- just got my card 34.4- but Im getting better. This club is friggin awesome!It is very light, and when I hit the ball I get a Highly Satisfying sound kind of a whoosh crack!- The feel of this club is such that its like all the energy goes into the ball. switching from a beginner aluminum driver I got with a starter set to this one is like the difference of night and day.My first day on the range before going for 18 was stellar. During the round, I hit several shots and they felt great, went straight, and so much farther than I expected- As I said Im a beginner so my swing is still developing, and I was able to get about 200 yards with a 3/4 swing. Nice and easy and thwak- the ball goes rocketing off down field!!All in all GREAT CLUB!! neutral setting, no fancy crap, just hit the ball and it goes where you were aiming. Its PERFECT for me.Thanks Callaway!

I bought this driver after using the titanium version and was getting great distance and accuracy. I ordered this one by accident I was very disappointed when I opened the box and seen that I had ordered the wrong one but decided to try it out because I thought I am not sending this back and not having a driver again. So I used it and was still getting just as much distance and accuracy that I was getting from the titanium version. I was so happy with this driver because the old driver I had I could not hit to save my life. This is a very forgiving driver for a below average golfer. If you are looking for a new driver and was a driver that will give you distance and be forgiving you have to get this driver.

It has a shallow face, which is hard to hit with after getting used to modern day deep faced drivers. I measured the depth to be less than 2 inches. I am afraid to tee it up as high as I normally do cuz I might get under it. I don't know the wisdom of it other than to reduce the air drag, which is mimimum concern for most average golfer. Otherwise it looks to be well constructed.

The Callaway Razr X Black Driver is very light compared to my previous driver and extremely forgiving. I've had it for a month now and golf 2-3 times a week with many driving range sessions. I took it to the course with out ever taking it to the range and my first hit was off the heel of the club and it went down the fairway with good distance. By the end of the 18 hole round I was hitting it straighter and farther than my previous driver giving me the confidence to swing away! I recommend this club for all skill levels. I can't tell you how often the guys I play with compliment my drive and little do they know I just hit it off the toe of the club. Then they ask to use it adding distance to their drives. Looking to improve yardage,fairway percentage?This should be the right club that you want in the bag!A driver that performs better than any I've ever used.I alone gained, not just yardage, but more fairway hits in a round, than any round Ive ever played! I must add that my confidence has gone up being on the tee.So over all I shoot 84 lo/ 90 hi !! With this driver ill shave at least 2-4 stokes off any course just from the over-all change Ive seen and felt!! Money well spent no matter what I say to any one,You see for your self as soon as it shows up,and you use it for the first time!! My First Words Were, '' #$%'' !! Thats Nice!!

I was playing with my Top Flite set, so I started having Golf classes and get more commitment with the game. My coach has advice me to get those clubs to help to improve my skills as well.Well, beyond the weekly training, get better stuff for sure will help you out on your daily basis, and I couldn't get better clubs for the level that I found myself right now.I'm very happy for having these Callaway Razr X Black and make my game improved so much.Next step will be get new grips, but anyway I`m already getting new frontiers on the field.
