20mm Modena Italian Rubber Watch Band w/Easy to Size DEPLOYANT Buckle

The blue strap I got looks very nice. Easy clasp open/close, sturdy plastic on the band, easy to adjust length without tools.However, there are several issues with it that I think may matter to you as well. I am not using it because of these.(1) The band is stiffer than my current band, which in itself would not be problematic if it would not try to maintain its flat shape rather than conform to my hand's contour. For rounder, wider wrists this may not be an issue but I'm boney/squarish at the wrists and the band just does not allow for the snug yet relaxed feel that I like in my pre-shaped plastic bands or in a broken-in leather band I currently have.(2) The metal clasp plucks my hair way too often - probably not an issue with everyone but I'm hairy and it hurts when it does that.(3) The two little metal connectors to the watch provided with the band are very week and wobbly - even the factory ones that came with a $30 Timex watch for which the band was intended are sturdier and of better quality so I used them instead of the ones that came with the band.(4) The metal clasp outside surface is way too easily scratched - that's just cosmetics and does not really matter to me. Though just from wearing it during the course of a couple of days on a desk job it has two parallel worn areas where it touches the desk - looks like I tried to sand it down...(5) One of the reasons I got this was to use its easy length adjustability so that I can wear my watch under a shirt at work or over a dry suit on the water. However, the clasp insides where it touches your wrist is made of somewhat hard-eged material. While that is not an issue in terms of bare hand comfort (although I suspect that this is why it is plucking my hair) - I thought it might actually damage my dry-suit's wrist gaskets so I would not wear it over it.To sum-it up: this would work great for a round not-too-hairy wrist, especially if you have a pair of sturdier attachments to the watch to use with it. For me - it is just sitting at my desk.

I really like the design of this band. It looks like a matte-finish, metal band, but it's rubber, as described. I bought it knowing that it would be a little too wide for my Seiko Automatic, but a very sharp pen-knife took care of the customization with not a big deal. NOTE: the band did not come with pins, which is a silly omission to me. So, nice look, easy to fit, easy to clasp, a little hassle on the install because the pins I used were from a different band and they had a smaller diameter, BUT, 3 stars instead of 4 stars because the band that secures the strap moves to freely and the strap tends to get caught on things. My wrist is average size, not skinny and not Arnold. NOTE 2: A week of salt water and chlorine didn't do much to the band but it did leave it looking a little white with deposits. A good washing will probably fix that.

Easy to cut and fit my Seiko dive watch perfectly. Looks good and overall happy with the watch band. I remain unsure how well it will hold up in water but for the price its a decent buy.

The watchband being sold has stubby links on its surface and looks like this one at "ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31BLPRyiQVL._SX90_.jpg". The one I saw displayed on the Amazon product website has smooth lines as displayed in the picture at "ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31gazYPbKrL._UX385_.jpg".Luckily returns are easy with Amazon but it was a wast of one's personal time and energy.This item is "Fulfilled by Amazon" and yet it is advertising the wrong photos!!

This is a great value - easy to put on and adjust. Rubber straps are the way to go - don't pull your hair like links and don't sweat through and stink like leather. Totally stoked with this band! Looks better in person than in picture - made a watch I don't wear much anymore cuz the leather band is gross into my new everyday watch!
