I had tried to make the original "wand" last as long as possible by adding heat-shrink tubing to it, but even that eventually could not stand up to chewing by the cats. They really like "Zoom zoom" as the device is known on the "BilliSpeaks" YouTube channel. I bought the device as a whole based on that YouTube channel.

I have four, large Ragdoll cats, and they figured the original toy out quickly, and started jumping on the moving base of the toy, until it stopped, and they finally broke it, then pulled out these wands! Now, I just buy the wands.

The media could not be loaded.  I got the product these go to as a hand me down gift from a friend and my cat Milo lovessss it. He especially likes biting the red rubber part XDI got these because he TORE apart the original one and yes, he almost immediately tore through the first replacement but that’s on me, I left it out over night. That being said, he still LOVESSS it! As you can see in the video he’s having a ball knocking it around. Can someone say bonus toy????I do wish the rubber was sturdier, I didn’t have it out for that long before he was able to bite through it.

These are NOT the exact replacements. Even though they look exactly like the original, the grey part that sticks into the center, is thicker than the hole. It does not fit into the hole. I had to use sandpaper to shave it down on all sides, just to get it to fit. It took a while to do. Not good. Also,the round ball in the middle of the length is able to open up and makes the piece not usable. The original one does not open. I was disappointed in these cheap knockoffs.

This fits meow spinner toy. My cat likes these so much that I need to hide the extra ones because she'll dig them out of the bag to play with them.

My cat loves this toy but chews off the red tip of the wand. After a couple of days of playing there is nothing sticking out from under the yellow cover but the main arm of the wand still moves the cover so my cat still has something to chase.

I bought these for the SmartyKat Hot Pursuit blanket toy. I knew they weren't going to fit my blanket toy correctly because, well, they aren't made for it. But I couldn't find SmartyKat replacement wands anywhere so I decided to make do. Before I ordered these wands I was using a string that was taped onto the toy because my cats destroyed the original wands a loooong time ago. So really, any kind of real wand was an upgrade.In order to make these work with the wrong blanket toy, I had to tape the crap out of them to make them stay. The Hot Pursuit blank has wands that have a "female" end and go over the "male" end. These wands are "male" and so basically I had to tape two male ends together. Not ideal, but totally works in a pinch. I have to retape every couple weeks as the glue on the tape weakens from play time but still worth it to keep my energetic kitties entertained for 15 minutes while I do the dishes or something. They love their blanket toy and these wands help them love it even more.
