The Pinball Compendium: 1930s-1960s: 1930s-1960s (Schiffer Book for Collectors)

I went back and forth for a while trying to decide if i should pay this much for a book that i'd never heard of. BOY AM I GLAD I BOUGHT IT! This book is fantastic, i find myself picking it up nearly everyday.

Authoritative reference with lots of photos. this was a gift for a friend and he loves it!

Very interesting and well documented book on most significative US pinballs of the period.One deception about photo material as most photos are faded.

Other reviews claimed the photos were good, leading me to get the book. Most of the photos are sub-standard by today's capabilities. A letdown. Good info in the book, but don't get it if you're looking for the looks thrill.

What makes the book work is the graphics.Obviously,the drawcard is the artwork,look of the machines so they were astute in cramming as much of these in.As they say,a picture can tell a thousand words.

Même si mon anglais n'est pas impeccable ce livre et ses frères sont tous super. Un vrai moment de plaisir. A garder dans sa bibliothèque...
