Great Boat Wire, Meets ABYC Standards
If you have a boat, you have to use this kind of wire for A/C. It has to be stranded instead of solid, because engine vibrations can damage solid wire, and it has to be tinned, to prevent corrosion in marine environments. If you are doing any boat wiring, be sure you know what you are doing. This is high-quality wire. Despite the rating, it is fairly flexible, and pulls easily. It also meets the 2012 ABYC (American Boat & Yacht Council) standards.Note that the 12/3 wire is rated for running 15 amp and 20 amp circuits from the main panel to your outlets, and is NOT rated for running 30 amps from the shore cord inlet to the main panel. You'll need 10/3 for that, but the 10/3 is awkward for wiring anything more than one-gang (two plug) outlets.

Good product, extremely fast shipping.
The wire arrived very quickly, and was well packaged. Fantastic! The wire is wound around a spool and cling-wrapped to keep it there. The wire looks perfect - tinned strands. The outer insulation is tough and resilient, just the thing for harsh environments like a boat or a trailer. Overkill for a house.

Good quality and easy to work with.
Used in a van conversion. It is very flexible making it easy to route through the van's structure. The sheath is rugged and I'm confident it will protect the wiring from abrasion.

This is the first time I have purchased marine grade wire. This wire is so easy to use I will consider using this wire for all my repair projects in the future. I find the extra cost for small projects well worth the expense.
