It arrived quickly and in the condition described by seller. It is the perfect gift for your budding gymnast.

This is a great book for a teenager gymnast. The quality is better than TV shoes like "make it or break it" but it contains the same elements (eating disorder, anxiety and stress related to competitive gymnastics). I Particularly liked the second book of the series, Balancing Act.

My daughter loved Balancing Act and Winning Team so much that she read them both in a few days and is now devouring Unexpected Twist. I was not swayed by naysayers whose reviews found too little of this or that. The culture of girls' gymnastics and the love of the sport itself is enough to make my daughter, once a reluctant reader, into an avid reader. Hmm, as a teacher for many years, I know this is the affective outcome we all want for our children: to love reading. My daughter was very bored with reading, despite her superior language and reading skills. What is most important to her is that the content reflect a world she wants to be a part of. As a former gymnast myself, I love reading along with her on our Kindle HDX. The Kindle HDX is dynamic (push to find vocabulary definitions) and alluring enough to draw her in daily.

This was my first time reading these series of books. I really enjoyed following these aspiring athletes. I wish I could have been one.

I liked this book because it gave this feeling I do gymnastics and it makes me want to work harder with every try

This was amazing so much fun to read. I recommend this book to all gymnast who know the struggle as well as the terminology. I recommend this book to 10+ . The author is just as exciting as the book. She was the youngest girl to compete at the Olympics at the age of 13 for women's artistic gymnastics. Please read I have to ho and read the next one!

My daughter received these books and read them very quickly. She is anxious for the next two to get here (we have already pre-ordered!). The books definitely made her get excited about gymnastics, and I am looking forward to watching the Olympics with her and tying it back to these books. I also love that we could talk about how hard people really work to be so good at their sports. I would highly recommend these!

The book had folded pages in the middle of the book. The book had obvious water damage. WOW....I am a teacher and I would never give a student a book that looked like this one.

Item arrived on time. It was described as very good used condition - this was not true!! The first paragraph was completely unreadable due to felt tip pens and the back cover was bent and ripped. Disappointing.
