At first, I thought this was neat. Simple, I was opening and closing it with each use per the instructions. But, I soon kinda realized that the results were the same with or without the product; if I put one in one of my shoes and let it rest over the weekend, they smelled the same by Monday. So, I feel like it's more masking the odor. It does a decent job of that.However, today, I was frustrated as I removed them from my shoes, attempted to close them, and one of them broke. The blue side split in two; the pressure from turning to close it broke the glue connection. Little brownish beads went everywhere and there was a moth-ball like thing hidden in one end. Because it's the glue that broke, I'd have to glue it back together. I just decided that it wasn't really worth the effort and tossed them both.Recommended if you want something to mask the odor because it's just that bad, but be wary of the durability.

I've been using these for several months now and they work! I thought I would have to throw some of my favorite sneakers away because... well, the smell was awful even after I ran them through two full wash cycles. Bought these and put them in the sneakers when I'm not wearing them. Odor is gone.

I'm sure I just got a defective item. It arrived with the packaging that's not in a good condition (dirty). There's a white ball inside the capsule that's supposed to hold the pellets inside, but the white ball was torn, so the pellets keep coming out. I am hoping to get a replacement as the product arrived in a damaged condition.

I was super skeptical when I first read about these, but my shoes can get smelly, especially in the summer, so I figured I'd give it a try. They work like a charm! My shoe order is noticeably diminished. I wish I had found the product earlier!!

This was a re-order. They've done a great job of neutralizing the odor in my most-worn shoes. Now I have a set to rotate among the other shoes.

Small and not too obnoxious smelling, they worked well to keep my shoes fresh during days and days of walking on vacation.

I love the capsole odor eliminators! I always had a hard time with most of the scented shoe fresheners because the scents were always too strong. But these work perfectly for me! And you can easily see these, so you won't forget about them and try to put on the shoe before removing them.

Doeant work, its kind of like a perfume, does not eliminate odors.
