Poorly packaged, Adhesive peeled off the battery before installing it.
I repair laptops for a living. I do about 2 battery replacements a week. The delicate wires and connector that connect to the motherboard were not protected in the shipping box. Battery was in a unsealed plastic bag with no foam protection. Adhesive strips peeled off the battery when trying to remove the protective overlays. Had to completely remove them and get my own double stick tape. Almost returned it but I installed the battery anyway.
