Should have bought this years ago!
It's great, easy to install - except there were no bolts included for the fence post section. I'm assuming that may be due to various installation applications, but I did not note that in the description or I'd have bought them ahead of time.. $2 at the hardware store took care of that, and it is working perfectly. Love that it's US made, seems solid and will probably outlast the 6x6 post.

Had a situation where gate poles were a few inches too close so could not use a two way latch. (Not enough clearance)This latch was a good way to mitigate without having to cut into the gateposts for the two way.

Solid Latch For A One Way Gate
Great gate latch for a one way farm gate. You can manipulate the gate and latch one handed. Once closed the gate is very secure. I do wish the latch came with lag screws, you'll need to procure your own (3/8") to mount it to a post. Thus far our escape artist dogs have not been able to defeat the latch.
