Easy install, works with eufy camera's.
Works well as aspected. Easy install clean install, took me 15mins with a 6mm drill bit and cable under porch carpet, around skirting to a power socket inside. No humming on mine yet so hoping it stays that way.

Aosu V8S Doorbell (Wired)
I have two of these to power my Aosu V8S doorbells. Both units seem to work well. I haven't noticed any noise or concerning heat. They gradually trickle-fed power to my units and are holding fully-charged.

Perfect for ring doorbells
Perfect, it's a slow trickle charge, but got the ring doorbell from 11% to 100% over the course of a few weeks! No more charging required!! Completely silent and a long cable making it easy to plug in. A great alternative to the very expensive official ring one

Google Doorbell Battery
I use this to keep my Nest doorbell battery topped up so I don't need to take it in and charge it frequently. It works perfectly for this task and I notice no humming or noise from the transformer.

Rings a bell
Tempted by the Black Friday discounts we finally bought a Ring doorbell. To be precise we opted for the higher-end Ring Pro version, because it is more compact, but also because it is powered by the mains. I think it’s fairly pointless to have a battery powered doorbell, in particular since we are frequently away for a sustained period. However this also implied that I would first have to find 18v - 500mA plugin converter for the Ring Pro and secondly, put non-existent power wire in place through the door post of our new-build house. This white coloured plug in power supply/converter was looking quite decent, which is important as it will have to be plugged in a socket next to the front door. The cable had ample length. However I would have to cut the wire end contract plates in order to squeeze the wire through the tiny hole that I drilled through the door post. I would have had to cut the wire to the right length anyway. While I could have soldered the connectors back on and properly seal them with some heat shrinkage covers, I just fixed the wire ends to the back of Ring Pro. And that was mostly it, the Ring Pro worked almost straight out of the box, and with the help of this power source the installation took less than 20 minutes. So I think that the 15 GBP that I paid for this power source was well worth the investment given the utility I got from it and compared to the 140 gbp investment I already made with the Ring Pro.

Works perfectly with Eufy doorbell
Bought this to work with the eufy Video Doorbell E340 and it works perfectly as intended. The included cable was much longer than I needed so I cut it to the length I wanted. Is not much else to say really. Just wanted to post a review in case anyone was wondering if it will work ok with the eufy E340 doorbell.
