Runts 5lb bulks (Bulk. 4-PACK)

What is better than a package of Runts? 5 Freakin' pounds of Runts! I put them in a big clear jar and set them in the living room. That way they are the first thing I see when I walk in the house after work. Not my wife, not my kids, not my dogs...the Runts. My soul soars when I put key to lock everyday at 6PM, just knowing that the giant jar is sunshine is waiting for me. Perfect fruit ratio, with plenty of bananas, which, as we all know, are the true prize in a box of Runts. Why not buy 5 pounds of just the bananas? Listen, this can be fun, but its not a game. Its all about the mix, baby. Life gives you limes as well as bananas, you just learn to savor the bananas a little more. Positives? I think I clearly stated, this is a 5 pound bag of Runts. Negatives? The packaging was not regal enough for its contents. I suggest some gold foil, or perhaps some classic art on the label (Botticelli comes to mind). Buy this, and learn to love again. Thank you for your service, Willy Wonka. And thank you Amazon for the Runts.

I hadn't had Runts in a long time. This purchase was an impulse buy that ruined my diet and was out of my budget, but I have absolutely no regrets. When the candy arrived, I poured myself a big bowl and watched one of my favorite old movies. The "strawberries" and "plums" have always been my favorites and they tasted just like I remember them. I notice that several other customers complained about the packaging. I didn't have any issue: the candy weighed exactly 5lbs and was in a sealable bag. What a great guilty pleasure!

The good news is that I didn’t need scissors to open the candy bag. The bad news is that the bottom of the bag blew out during shipping and released candies into the shipping box. Candy is good, I just hope the interior of the shipping box was clean and “food grade”.

The only thing I disliked is that this seems to be repackaged and there is candy dust everywhere, in the bag. In addition, there was a hair in the bag, as I opened it - like a dark curly hair. I am not one to fuss about things like that but maybe just be more aware of the people packaging the candy and ensure they are using hair covers.

Ordered from gofastparts and shipped from Amazon. Candy was in a sealed plain clear bag then in with another item in a box. The box was too large for the items and the candy bag broke open. Candy was then loose to rattle around the other item. Didn't feel the candy could be safely eaten and it was returned. Reordered from Bayside Candy. Ended up cheaper even with paying for shipping charges. Arrived quick and in good condition (fresh) form Bayside.Candy.

These are the actual "Runts", just like the ones in theater-style boxes and overpriced vending machines. If you were to put $3 worth of coins into one of those vending machines, you *might* get about what is one box. Those boxes hold 5 ounces, slightly less than 1/3 of a pound. Buying them here, that same $3 will get you a FULL POUND of tangy, fruity happiness. My favorite is the banana, and it seems there are fewer of those than any other. Lucky for me, my husband doesn't like the banana ones! The only way I've seen to get genuine Runts cheaper requires buying 30 pounds at once, and we all know that 30 pounds of candy equates to at least 50 pounds of human weight.

Product shown is not what I received, the bag was only 3lbs of runts after weighing it, and was broken inside of the box ,that appeared to be water damaged. Candy was uneditable and soft missing most of the coloring like it was partially submerged in water before or after shipping. Won't be repeating this purchase again .

I bought these to make guest gifts for a jungle themed baby shower. The different candies do have different flavors... the bananas have a banana flavor, orange tastes like orange...The package arrived in great condition in 2 days with Prime. A very small amount of the bananas were broken, as expected.
