I like this flavor and texture better than nutella - fewer carbs, more protein!
Now that I have tried the chocolate flavored sacha inchi butter, I'm not sure I'll want to go back to the other big name chocolate nut spread. When we first opened the jar we were a little concerned about how dry the butter looked. A little bit of stirring all the way through took care of that. Even nicely stirred, it appears much drier than nutella, but then that got me wondering just how much other stuff is added to nutella to make it so shiny and smooth? We have spread this on waffles and toast, and we love the flavor! Nice chocolate flavor, but much less sweet than the other product. Less than half the carbs and more than 4 times the protein. Winner!

Awful
I really wanted to like this product. There was an odd flavor. Sort of fishy and very salty. I threw it out. Their snack products are so good! I especially like the white cheddar. Wish this was as good.

Delicious with a unique flavor.
I love this seed butter. It has a familiar taste, but I couldn't put my finger on it for a bit. But, it's sort of like Omega-3 oil. It's not off putting in anyway and maybe wouldn't be noticed by anyone other than just, mmmmm this is familiar. The jar I have is crunchy and sort of has the consistency of mixing chunky Jif peanut butter with the half jar of oil off almond butter. It's drippy and probably wouldn't be great on anything with holes, like sourdough bread, say. Hasn't mattered to me, straight out of the jar! If one wanted to do the work and was eating this as part of a Ketogenic or Paleo diet, it might be worthwhile to pop it in a blender with some coconut oil, whip 'em together and get something more spreadable. I haven't tried, but it might be thicker if put in the fridge, too.Regardless, I think this is delicious and seems to be very good for you and unique. Not to mention, it's great to get to support a small food company!

Don't give up after the first bite!
I was so excited to find this butter, as I have been forced to give up all nut butters and peanut butter. I ordered the unsweetened version as I do with all nut butters. It stirred together nicely and has a nice color and texture. I was not ready for the earthy taste however on the at first bite. I almost just threw it away, but I took a few more bites and quickly got over the first bite, but I would recommend sweetening it with your own sweetener. I used English Toffee Stevia Drops and it tastes great! I've also added coconut manna to it for another great flavor. I do love this option of a nut free butter, and this one tops my list with 0 net carbs, lots of protein and mega omega-3! Yes the price is high, but unfortunately all the good healthy stuff is! I will definitely buy it again.

Unsweetened is bland
Not sure what everyone's going on about this being delicious. I'll agree it's nutritious and better for you than basic peanut butter but the UNSWEETENED version is just BLAND. Slightly better than sand in my mouth. And it came totally separated, one side a hard rock of compressed seeds, the other side oil. You'll need a very sturdy metal spoon to hack away and stir. A strong wrist and forearm helps too. Since this is a non-returnable product, I'll have to find creative ways to consume this. Likely mixing it with some sweetener so it has some kind of flavor.

ZERO CARB, high quality protein
For what it is, it's amazing! Sasha Inchi seeds will never taste as good as cashews or macadamia nuts. You may have to develop a taste for this, I use it as part of a zero carb breakfast on my fasting days. Considering it's zero carb and high in quality protein, the overall taste to nutrition ratio is excellent!

I bought the snack bagt and LOVE IT, but this shot at making this a "butter"??
I bought the snack bag and LOVE IT, but this shot at making this a "butter" I think is a miss. It is not terrible, to me, but I need to warm and dump this into my blender and puree it. I don't dig the consistency, not sure about the flavor in this form, but the food item is GREAT!

Potpourri & Flax Oil Flavor
Tastes nothing like peanut butter as other reviewers have said. Very crunchy with lots of little bits, which was a positive for me. I did have a problem with it separating but wasn't too bad to stir. However, the flavor is potpourri or some flowery flavor mixed with flax oil to me and completely unpalatable. I am wondering if it's supposed to taste like this and if I should throw it out. Hate to waste so much money on this. Also note that I was not able to decipher the best by date, I believe that the actual date was missing.
