I love this product, let me explain, not only did i order this on late Friday night 12/21 before Christmas and it was shipped out the very next day. I received my shipment on the 12/26, well before the estimate of Jan 1st-14th. This was with standard shipping in 6-14 business days. I am really pleased with the fast prompt service I received, especially considering the holidays.The UPS parcel comes directly to your mailbox and upon opening you are greeted with a lovely Burlap sack decorated with island themed tribal patterns. The kava is double sealed in two plastic zip locked bags. Opening said sealed bags you are hit with the aroma of vanilla and earth scent. I measured out Three tablespoons and deposited it in 8oz of milk. The powdered kava root takes a little time to dissolve into the milk due to the temperature and fine particle size. After three to five minutes of vigorous stirring, you are left with a coffee colored drink only thicker. The first taste was pleasant enough, vanilla at the front with Earth/root tones at the back end. I recommend coconut or almond milk to mix kava in as these get rid of the earthy taste. Upon drinking your mouth goes numb and your lips tingle. I had drank my first drink on an empty stomach and had no upset or nausea at all. After twenty to thirty minutes a light tingling comes over your head and body, very pleasant and very relaxing. This product is all it says and more, a unique way for a great nightcap or if you just need to relax! As far as I can tell this stuff is great. It give you the Kava feeling and tries to improve the taste. If you have ever tasted Kava, you know what I mean. Still it gives you a good amount of Kava for the money. I just miss Kava soda, which I have never found on the mainland.

Cool idea- poorly executed.Tastes like kava smells like kava (as well as vanilla shake). The only difference between this and real kava is the total lack of any effects. Essentially when you are consuming this product you are drinking gross/chunky vanilla dust. If you want quality kava extract try paradise kava. This instant kava will only end up in your trash can.

Item arrived two days prior to the initial expected delivery date and was exactly as described. Two thumbs WAY up.
