Brooklyn Aurora 13" Luxury Cooling Gel Hybrid Mattress, Twin XL Firm

Brooklyn Bedding company will not honor the 120 sleep guarantee if you buy the mattress from Amazon. We purchased the medium firmness and found it to be a little too soft after 45 days. Brooklyn bedding told us that we had to go through Amazon for the return or exchange. Amazon return window closed after 30 days.Update, Amazon did the right thing and allowed me to donate the mattress and get a different mattress. Kudos to them!! But again, buy this direct if you want to get the warranty.

This was a major let down. It does keep me cooler at night than my old memory foam mattress and the shipping was very quick but it's like sleeping on a blow up mattress. Mine was the medium firm and it was neither soft enough to be comfortable nor firm enough to be supportive. I'm a skinny guy and I still sunk down in the middle enough to get my spine completely out of alignment and unable to sleep in this thing at all. Now to wait and see if they keep their 120 guarantee.

This is the best mattress I’ve ever had, and I take sleep very seriously so I don’t say that lightly.As background, I grew up with spring mattresses, and have suffered from lower back pain for most of my life. I’m a side sleeper and always had to sleep with a pillow under my waist for extra support. I bought an all memory foam mattress a year ago that was only slightly better for me in terms of support, but my fiancé (who sleeps on his back) said it didn't have enough support for him, and was way too hot.When we moved to a new apartment I decided to start over with a fresh mattress, and researched these things for weeks trying to decide between a traditional spring mattress or whether to give memory foam another go. The Aurora seemed like a perfect marriage of the two, and boy am I glad I decided to try it. It’s so comfy that we don’t want to get out of bed in the morning. Soft but with the perfect amount of bounce and support. It doesn’t even need a mattress topper the way most spring mattresses do. We’ve only had it for a few days, so I’ll have to update my review in a few months to say whether it holds up. As of right now though, the medium king Aurora mattress has two very happy customers. Back and side sleeper approved.

I did a lot of research on the mattress in box companies and Brooklyn Bedding kept coming up because of their Hybrid mattress and the fact that they manufacture their own products. I also liked the fact that they are one of the few mattress in a box companies that have a choice of firmness. We choose the soft firmness and could not be happier. The mattress is so comfortable, and it really does stay cool to the touch. I can’t wait to change all the mattresses in my home to Brooklyn Bedding and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new mattress.

Very nice bed for the price. Maybe a little on the soft side (but this is subjective) this is why 4 stars not 5. Its is very cool for a hybrid and the sides are firm so you can sleep near the edge. I would by another but maybe if I could get it in firm

I researched the best mattresses of each type for 2018. My goal was the best HYBRID - that's part spring, part tempurpedic - BEST COOLING. I am in my 50s and run very HOT. Cooling and comfort are a MUST. This was rated the best mattress of its kind for 2018 and Amazon carried it. It arrived when expected in a very small box and when opened it unrolled (quickly!! - haha) and was ready to be put on my frame. SUPER BUY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this mattress - it is THE BEST!

So I looked at all kinds of mattresses and found from my research that this one should fit my needs. Well, It's a let down for me. The soft feels more like a firm for me and since I bought it on Amazon, Im not sure what to do about returning it. I do only have 30 days and thats up in 2 weeks.

I love how soft and comfortable this bed is. I hate firm beds so this is just perfect. I can't wait to jump into it every night.
