A fantastic acquaintance for detailing
Been using the Bucket Buddy for almost a year now, washing & detailing vehicles. I can get around a vehicle quickly, no longer have to lumber around two buckets as I do my two bucket method. Less than 10 minutes to assemble with a 13mm on both ends and good to go. Wheels have held up, everything is rigid, and affordable! Would highly recommend to anyone in detailing.

Works really well especially on smooth surfaces!
Holy cow this works, and I use it to move things around the yard, putting things on top of the buckets as well. It is not as sturdy as I needed it to be at the local park to water trees. Over rough land and with 2 five gallon pails of water, it doesn't work as well. But on smooth surfaces and for short distances, it is a back saver. Delivered quickly and easy to assemble.

lots of different use
This bucket caddy is great! I've been using this for auto detailing, And a "two bucket wash" (one for rinse water and one with soap water) it feels sturdy and gets the job done. Not sure that it would be my first choice for hauling buckets of rock or dirt around the yard all day/every day. But.. if you wanted to store & haul your sand/salt, kids toys, sports equipment, etc.. I'd say this would work great.

Not Durable - Would Not Buy Again
I was really excited when we received our new Bucket Buddy. It seemed to be the perfect solution to our problem of having to transport a 35 lb. 5 gallon bucket about 300 ft. from our house to the barn three times a day to feed our old retired gelding. It came in a flat box and upon inspection, it was clear that it had been designed in parts to be assembled in order to facilitate shipping. Assembly was simple and quick and the instructions were minimal but, for the most part, unnecessary. The only glitch was that one of the nylon insert lock nuts appeared to have missed the part of its fabrication process where it received the nylon insert and was crimped to hold it in place. A drop of thread locker solved that quickly, however. Assembly was completed in less than 15 minutes and then it was on to try it out. It worked beautifully. It rolled easily over pavement and grass and you could barely tell that there was any weight behind you at all. It met all of my expectations from that standpoint. From the standpoint of durability, however, I have been very disappointed. When I first opened the box, I remarked to my wife that the tubing seemed awfully light. In fact, I was cautious when installing the parts together not to tighten the screws too tightly for fear of collapsing the tubing. The joints are simple slip joints with one screw and nut through a closely fitting hole to hold the joint together. Now, after a few weeks of use and a couple of adjustments to the tightness of the screws, my Bucket Buddy wobbles and shakes and the handle won't sit up beyond a 10 degree tilt to either side of vertical. My dog ran into the handle one morning when it was empty and knocked it over on its side. The plastic hand grip struck the sidewalk and shattered into numerous pieces like glass. It was just barely below freezing that morning. I have never put more than one bucket on it and the weight is always 35 lbs, yet it is literally wearing out the sides of the holes in the steel tubing so fast that I doubt that I get more than another month or two of use before a major rebuild or replacement will be necessary. In summary, I think the basic idea and functionality are excellent. I think that if it were made of better materials, it would be a good buy at $40.00. In its present state, however, I would not pay $20.00 for it again. It is not a durable item and should be considered as a consumable if you are going to use it off pavement or with moderate loads. The design is simple, however, and could be easily copied by a local fabrication shop using sturdier materials and eliminating those troublesome joints which are useless for anything besides shipping. That is my recommendation and what I am going to do unless I can find something similar that is more durable.

Easy to haul full buckets
Took no time to assemble, bolts are much longer then need to be otherwise sturdy. I think it's a little pricey but have not found anything that is comparable.

Save Your Back!
This is one handy item! I use 5 gal buckets all the time and as I'm a senior citizen lady was having trouble moving them from place to place. Not any more! I just leave the buckets in the Bucket Buddy and I'm all set, hassle free. It's sturdy and smooth running, went together in a flash. A real helper!

Not sturdy, value for money is low
Not for use with weight. Had buckets filled with rock and it is showing signs of bending the whole thing.I had to drill out the holes in order to get the provided bolts through them for assembly. The handle slides right off of it while pulling the cart.

Makes cleaning up after dogs a breeze!
With 3 acres and 2 German Shepherds that go wherever the heck they please… the Bucket Buddy was our solution for hauling the ‘doo’ if you will.It was very easy to put together, such a simple design that I’m very surprised this is really the only one of its type out there for 5 gallon buckets. I don’t use both bucket holes often but when I have it’s still be fairly easy to maneuver even over mole holes and ruts. We’ve left the cart out in all sorts of weather and it’s holding together just fine. If you’re tired of hauling around buckets of Poo, then rolling it is your answer!
