Skip it. This particular PETG is fine, but PETG is junk.
For FDM 3d printing, PETG has basically no advantages over other materials. It's not stronger than PLA (see strength tests comparisons on youtube); it's more hassle to print; the transparency that clear PETG normally gives doesn't work out due to how FDM prints in layers, *and* PETG's food safety benefits aren't relevant because of how 3d printing layers allow bacteria etc. to build up between layers. Stick with PLA, or go with something like nylon if you need a more exotic material.

Another good filament
Cheap and cheerful? Well, yes, actually. Some folk complain about the quality of Amazon Basics filaments but this PETG has been flawless for me. Used at 250C and 85C bed the filament lays nicely, isn't overly prone to warping and delivers really nice results. I've been very pleased with Amazon Basics filaments and this PETG has been no different. You want good economical PETG? Buy a spool of this stuff.

Junk.
Just utterly unprintable. It feels almost oily? I dehydrated the spool for a day, kept it in a heated filament box with desiccant and just could get absolutely nothing to work with it. Spent ages re-levelling at higher temperatures just to see if I could get _something_ to work, but it's all ended up as a trash spool now for when I need hinge pins etc.Get hatchbox or some other reputable make.

Surprisingly really good - when its in stock!
I tried this PETG out on a whim, i usually use the brand Real Filaments. I figured for the price its worth seeing if its any good and i was really impressed, it printed perfectly at the same settings I use for other brands of PETG. The spools are wound brilliantly, i'd actually say its the best winding i've seen on any spool. I went through the spool in a few days and now its out of stock again. I'll buy buying 4 or 5 spools next time its back.

Prints very well and good value
I have both the red and black PETG filament from Amazon's basics range and have found it prints very well on my Ender 3. Bed temp of 80 and nozzle at 220 works well for me. I bought it for a project in the car as PETG has slightly better temperature resistance than PLA. Time will tell on that.

Poor quality almost unprintable.
Quite poor filament, temperature over 260 Deg required to get any flow at all. At 250, the highest stated temperature the extruder just kept knocking.Once soft enough to be extruded adhesion was poor and stringing was excessive even with slow printing speeds down to 15mm/s.Never managed a successful print and I suspect the filament was aged, damp or faulty.

Not worth your cash.
Bought the orange and black PETG spools. The orange printed well but the black spool is a disaster. All of the prints with this spool have weak spots and are extremely poor. The surface finish feels pitted and it's difficult to find the correct print settings.Definitely won't be buying the black spool again.
