Great power
Nov. 30, 2019. Dont like the fact that there is still power draw when the unit is off, just have to install a 12v 50 amp breaker switch to cut all power off to the unit. But it is 1000 watt power that and a pure sine wave is a plus. This is for a backup power off grid setup and for my RC hobby trailer.Dec. 12, 2019. An update. I have bought electric blankets to use on inverter but the one I had kept burning the blanket out. I got this 1000watt inverter with sine wave technology and used a new electric blanket on it. Worked flawlessly. So...to sum it up, I'm happy with it.

Excellent company!
This is an excellent company to do business with. Even though my inverter was over a year old they worked with me to get the correct one. The one I had purchased wasn’t a pure sine wave and wouldn’t run my CPAP machine. Rin worked with me over several days and emails to determine that I needed a pure sine wave to run a medical device and even offered a discount on a new one.

My unit gets warm even with no load. Failed at 700w during Texas winter storm.
The power output is clean and fits my needs. I have it connected in a 12v lead-acid system with 195W solar panel. I will test further, but the unit (in garage out of sun) gets warm even with nothing plugged in, let alone drawing a load. Specifications state an idle draw of less than 0.8 amps...but the noticeable warmth seems suspicious for that to be true. It is warm as if under a light load.Like I said, I will test further and update.Update, February 2021, after our Texas winter storm emergency. Unit failed under bigger load. It's rated for 1000w continuous but failed after 15 minutes running a 700w space heater. Unit started smoking and smelled horrific. Failure during a natural disaster is horrible. You get what you pay for. Shame on me.

Awesome little inverter
I was highly skeptical of this based on price and not being a brand I have ever heard of. But this has worked extremely well so far. Used it in the cold and it was fine with low noise, though I was using it at under half load. Thinking of buying a second one for a different project.

Plugs are too tight
In the end, an inverter needs to deliver AC power to devices. It seems the cheapest component are the three AC plugs. They grab the device prongs very very hard, almost a firm click, and when I remove a plug from the middle receptacle it almost pulls the end cover off the inverter. It’s possible this will loosen over time, but I may just have to plug in a surge protector permanently to each outlet. It appears to work just fine converting 24VDC to 120VAC and installation was simple as expected. I have not load tested it other than up to about 500W, and the inverter did not yet kick on the fan so I cannot judge noise level.Lastly the accessory bag came with several 50-Amp fuses. It’s not clear where these would go for replacement needs, and I’m not about to unscrew every panel to open up the inverter. So far, functional for the decent price I paid, but not good quality AC outlets.

Great
I have it connected to a 100 amp hour it works great I like the remote part when it is in remote location.

Won't Sustain ~750W More Than 2-3 Minutes Before Thermal Cut Off
I'm trying to capacity test 2 new LifePo4 batteries and was trying to use a small space heater to provide a constant draw. I plugged a Watt Meter into this inverter and then plugged the heater into the meter so I could adjust the thermostat accordingly for the draw needed, and account for the 85% efficiency loss as well. Unfortunately, even keeping the heater set so as not to draw more than 800W (~750W on meter while bluetooth battery stats showed ~60A @ 13.2V = 792W, [closer to 95% inverter efficiency]), the inverter cuts off intermittently until it cools enough to cycle back on; lather, rinse, repeat.Yes, the internal cooling fan IS turning on and running like the dickens until the moment the inverter quits/shuts down. The inverter casing (heat sink) and alligator clip cables became too hot to touch after about 10 minutes total use. Because it does have some utility at a lower wattage draw (I'll trust it to maybe 500W) AND seems to truly be pure sine wave, I'll give a rating of 2 stars. However, if you must have continuous 1000W operability, buy something else.

Works great
have a great mechanic at Brenneman Auto and Marine in Williamsburg Iowa and he recommended this to me and it works great and is very quiet.
