Worth it
I have never really spent more that $15 on a blow dryer. I typically grab one at Walmart every 4-5 years. I have a lot of hair and it gets frizzy with blow drying and then it takes a fair amount of flat- ironing to look decent. It takes me 10-15 minutes to blow dry my hair with the average drugstore blow dryer, and after that I still have a wet spot at the bottom of my hair near my scalp, and I am sweating, but I quit anyway because I have stuff to do. Then my friend brings this SRI blow dryer on a trip and demands that I try it. I don't want to. I didn't feel like blow drying my hair, but my mild mannered friend is sternly insisting that I use her blow dryer. I was apprehensive, but took her fancy little blow dryer, wondering what the fuss was about. Four minutes later ALL of my hair was dry and I was not even sweating. I thought was some sort of wizardry. My hair was also NOT frizzy. It cut down on my product use and flat iron time. Then she told me the price. I honestly thought she had lost her marbles. Who buys a $200 blow dryer? Well, now me, but it was on sale for $150 at the time. So, now I have one too. I am slightly embarrassed about spending so much on a blow dryer, but it is so much more efficient and my hair doesn't look like a wind blown cave woman after I use it and I am not sweaty. I consider this a solid investment because of the efficiency and the time it has saved me.

Great purchase
What I like is the power this dryer has and certainly cuts my drying time. I have long (to the middle of my back) & heavy wavy hair. Leaves my hair soft, frizz gone and shiny. I dry my hair like my Stylist does, the barrel follows the brush down. I did that with my previous hair dryer & still had frizz.I invest in skin care products so why not invest in a great quality hair dryer. To me it’s not a heavy dryer and I highly recommend this hair dryer.

Control switches are in the wrong place!
Overall, I like this dryer a lot. It dries my hair well. For the price, though, I would expect to see:1. A longer cord (like many other reviewers have mentioned). WAY too short -- needs another 3'.2. A better plug. When I use the dryer, the plug often ends up at a slight angle to the outlet. Not enough to actually hut down the dryer, but the plug casing should be larger so that it stays in properly. If the cored were longer, (See #1), I don't think this would happen.3. Better-placed switches or a longer handle. Both rocker switches are located exactly where my thumb/fingers wrap around the handle; so every time I use it, I end up inadvertently changing the heat or speed setting. Working around the switches makes for an uncomfortable hand position. ALSO, I would suggest changing the switch "order" so that the "Off" position is NOT in the center of the rocker. It makes more sense to have the positions be "Off" "Low" "High" rather than "Low" "Off" "High." This goes for both switches.

Pleasantly surprised!
I hesitated to spend this amount of money on a blow dryer, and had no idea what a difference it could make. I’m sold, and this dryer was worth every dollar! My hair is silky and looks like I walked out of the salon every day. It’s also lightweight and dries hair quickly. I typically keep it on high to get it damp dry and then a medium setting to style with a round brush. The results are great and I love styling my hair again and takes no extra time!

Very Disappointed
I was so excited about this hairdryer, as I'm admittedly not the kindest to my hair. I have very fine, blonde hair that's prone to breakage so I was stoked to see that SRI had a red light therapy option that claimed reduced drying time and improvement of damaged hair. I also recently got hair extensions for volume and was looking to purchase a high quality dryer to preserve the integrity of the hair. Unfortunately the first use will be the last. It actually took longer to dry my hair than my cheap conair and I noticed almost immediately that my hair was much harder to comb through after drying 90% until starting brushing because the ends were somewhat frizzy (I have very high quality extensions and this has never happened before). I've noticed that more hair has broken off, including my extension hair, which was fine before using this. Super bummed because reality didn't live up to the hype.

Very Impressed!
Thoroughly satisfied with this purchase. - The only blow dryer I’ve ever owned finally broke last weekend. It was cheap (maybe $40), but I used it because of the straightening l pick.(I have extremely curly, wavy and frizzy hair)After reading the reviews for this dryer, I decided to try it.I do use the straightening pick and wow, what a difference from my old dryer. My hair dries so much faster, it’s less frizzy and does a way better job straightening than my old cheap broken one. I can really tell that the motor is much stronger and the ion and ceramic properties make a huge difference. This is absolutely worth the money in my opinion and from what I hear, dryers can get very expensive.Highly satisfied and I highly recommend!

Stopped working after 6 months
Bought this 6 months ago and the heat portion just stopped working. Now it's just blowing cool air. NOT worth $150 if only going to last 6 months. Was good while it lasted.

Wow!!! Where has this hair dryer been all my life!
I have to admit… I was skeptical. I have really long, thick, frizzy, curly hair… and hair dryers tend to be my enemy! If I’m going to go for a sleeker, more manageable look, I’ll spend an hour drying my hair. I bought this hair dryer and actually let it sit in my drawer for two weeks, without trying it. I just let my hair go crazy and be natural because I DREAD blow drying so much. Well let me tell you… (first I am NOT in any way connected to this product as an ambassador or anything) this hair dryer is AWESOME! I just dried my hair to smooth beautifulness in less than 20 minutes! And my hair was very wet!!! I truly love this product. Thank you so much for making a truly (honestly) amazing hair dryer!Tané McClureActress/producer/director
