The Enjoyment of Music (Shorter Twelfth Edition)

Did not come with access code

I bought the "shorter edition" for a class because I was trying to save money with a paperback. This is NOT the same book at the hardcover! I regretted my purchase by the end of the first class -- the paperback shorter edition is missing so much interesting material from the full-length edition, that you just don't get a good picture of the material being covered. It is like reading only crib notes -- the "flesh" that would give meaning to the whole is missing. So I am selling it back to Amazon (thereby losing a bunch of money because I bought it new) and buying a used hardcover. I'll use my secret code to access the online files for the shorter edition, and for other selections, well, there's Spotify.Rather than coming with CDs, this book comes with a website and a code to log on to hear the selections. Of course, if you buy a used book, you don't get this, although you can buy it separately.Outside of the shorter edition being a waste of money (for me), I think the book is wonderfully well organized with great illustrations. I'm looking forward to the hardback version.

This is an interesting book, had to get it for a class but really ended up enjoying the content.

Lots a cool information if you’re a nerd for music. Really let’s you know all the different things making music entails.

only way to get books for a student. Love the money savings and per my kid the book was used twice in the class and that's it. Will be doing this again.

Good quality used book

My sealed and unscratched Total Access code does not work....thus I have not received what I paid for. And since I have unsealed the book, and still have reading to do for my class, I cannot return this book. I just need the Total Access code to work on the publishers site instead of telling me it has already been used.

Included access code to digital extras was easy to use. Book was well written. Good pictures

I wish I had known that this is not the full book.
