Oh how I struggled with my old WiFi card, reluctant to take the back off my XPS. I needn't have worried, Amazon, Intel and YouTube to the rescue! 10 minutes of YouTube video makes swapping WiFi cards a simple 5-minute job. The new Intel card is higher spec, faster, 100% reliable, uses native drivers and is already connected every time I log in. If you're M2 WiFi is flakey, this easy fix and upgrade is well worth it.

Ok, wifi card. I replaced an Intel AC3160 for this one. It has a better performance overall, but not that much. I would say it's 20% better. It may be that my laptop is 5 years old and there are some kind of incompatibility with the BIOS/motherboard. I do not know, but the thing is that it works and now I have wifi 6 and bluetooth 5.1.

Do the job perfectly. Has the latest chip on the market. Internet connection speed was incredes significantly.

Paid more for this wifi card than some others available. No distinguishable difference. Worked OK.

Bought this upgrade the standard laptop adapter as MSTeams and Skype has poor connection despite a strong WiFi signal. This solved the problem and then some! I’ve never installed anything in a laptop but a few YouTube videos later I had a go and it was so easy. Just remember to install the drivers before starting and then uninstall the old card.

Future proof for the next few years anyway very fast download and upload speed using WiFi 6

I upgraded Dell M1830 Wi-fi card on Dell XPS 9550 with this one and the Wi-fi reception has improved significantly from intermittent 20Mbps on 2Ghz to constant 50Mpbs on 5Ghz.

Excelente articulo. Muy fácil de instalar. Realizando pruebas de velocidad, en 5 GHz me llegan los 100 megas que tengo contratados a través del wifi!!. La recepción también ha mejorado muchísimo. Por el precio que tiene, es una actualización que recomiendo sin dudarlo. Es increíble lo mucho que hace por lo poco que cuesta. Estoy encantado con su rendimiento.

Der Adapter kam schnell bei mir an und die Installation war auch sehr einfach, Laptop öffnen, eine Schraube lösen um den alten Chip zu entfernen, neuen Chip rein, Schraube wieder festziehen und fertig. Das einzige was man beachten muss ist die Antenne, da braucht man eine mit zwei Anschlüssen, eine mit nur einem Anschluss funktioniert nicht. Windows hatte am Anfang einige Probleme, da der neue Adapter als Wifi2 gespeichert wurde. Da ich den Laptop eh neu aufsetzten wollte war dies aber kein Problem. Nach der Neuinstallation lief alles ohne Probleme und die Verbindungsgeschwindigkeit ist echt super :) Neuere Linuxdistibutionen mit dem neuen Kernel (5.1) sollten den Chip ebenfalls ohne Probleme unterstützen, dies konnte ich aber leider noch nicht testen. Insgesamt kann ich den Adapter nur empfehlen.
