The Pathos Open Pro Spear Gun is designed for experienced spearos who pursue prey that require fast and powerful shots. The spear gun comes equipped with a Handle D'Angelo I low profile with reverse trigger mechanism that adds extra 2.76" (7 cm) of arming length. The ergonomic design gives the feeling that the spear gun is an extension of your hand. The Pathos Open Pro has a removable reinforced loading butt, a reel base for adding a reel for big fish hunting. Fully anodized aluminum barrel 1.25±0.05mm (0.05") thick with a shaft guide and a sharkskin surface for reduction of turbulent vortices. The gun's open muzzle design allows for two bands configuration for increased power. Gun comes with a 6.75mm (0.27") Sandvik shaft with 3 shark fins, a single flopper, and a tri-cut point. The Pathos Sandvik shafts are heat treaded to reach 52 Rockwell's. The stainless used has excellent mechanical properties. The Shark-fin shaft can be used on spear guns with open muzzle. All Pathos shark fin shafts have a classic shape shark fins and they are only 4mm (0.16") tall allowing for high coefficient of penetration through the water. Two 16mm (0.63") black over amber bands which are equipped with Dyneema wishbones. The Pathos Open Pro is available in multiple lengths depending on your hunting requirements.
