I purchased this halter to replace a full size Silver Tip four knot rope halter. I liked the thin 1/4 inch flexible rope on the Silver Tip 4-knot but it was too large for my Arab. This halter's rope is also thin which I like as I don't want anything heavy rubbing on my horse's sensitive face. What I especially like is that this halter comes in a small horse size which fit my 14.1 hand Arab nicely, not too snug, not too loose. Rope is flexible but strong. Very happy with this purchase.

There's are made with 1/4" rope and are just the right stiffness for my liking. They do soften with time and washings. My quarter horses have small heads and these look great and give just the right amount of gentle control.

Big Sky is the only commercially available halter I buy. Fantastic weight and durability. I love the feel of this halter. it is stiff enough to hold its shape without feeling hard to the touch. The rope is a great thickness as well. Purchased for training for my 1 & 1/2-year-old mustang. I was unsure how "small" the small would be. It is definitely around an arab/cob/small horse size. Would probably work for a larger yearling, but not a weanling or smaller pony. It is a perfect fit for her, five stars!

I really like these halters. I bought two for the colors, but they are very sturdy and easy to use. Just as good as my more expensive trainer brand halter.

I bought this for my Arabian mare. I find that the cob/Arabian size is a little small for her. I can put it on and tie it up, but it's snug around her nose, and almost no tail to pull through the knot. I have ordered the Average size to replace it with.Nice halter though!

The only rope halters I use! They’re easy to clean, perfect size and strong enough for my puller. I have 3 of these halters; one for day-to-day use and two for emergencies in my car & truck.
