Awesome craftsmanship -- don't overlook the handle!
So we decided to join the buzz around the Moscow Mule, and of course we had to have an authentic, copper mug for the complete experience. A quick search on Amazon and you'll be quickly overwhelmed by the options. I'm so glad I chose this seller/product. I looked at countless offers and here's why I chose this one:Solid copper. There are many mugs out there that are coated in copper, but those are useless in the purpose and function as a vessel for a Moscow Mule. Solid copper makes the mug nice and frosty and holds the temperature nicely. Supposedly, there is an interaction with the copper and the acidity in the drink -- works for me.Craftsmanship. These things are build like a tank. Really solid and clean welds in the handle, the rolled lip is smooth and clean, and the finish is smooth, yet rustic and authentic.THE HANDLE!!! The biggest reason in chose this mug was the handle. It's beefy. If you look at some of the other tiny handles on other products, you'll look like you are having afternoon tea with your grandmother rather than a really cool vodka classic. Seriously.Save yourself the hassle, this is the mug you want. I received a couple others as gifts and they will make nice pen holders. I'm drinking Moscow Mules out of these bad boys.

I would have given this 5 stars because the quality of the mugs is excellent, but when I received the package, the mug had been bent. The handle had been bent to the side, causing the mug's opening to not be round, but more oval. The package was not dented, so this was delivered this way from the factory. I bent it back as much as I could and it looks fine now, but they really should QA what's going out the door.

Seemed used....??
Have never bought these before so wouldn't know but ours seemed to be used. Thought they would be brand new looking but Lots of scratches/scuffs. If meant to be part of the look or that's characteristic for copper mugs, idk, but seemed weird. They are very sturdy and nice looking but seem to have gotten beat up further after a few uses. I'm not unhappy enough to go through the process of returning them but I would not buy any more of these.

Very nice polished assembly and weight
Very nice polished assembly and weight. Definitely a more commercial use design - the handle is thick and sturdy and a pleasure to hold. I've used this mug for a while now with my Mules and no tarnish - I just wash and dry them immediately so low maintenance to keep them looking good. I also keep them in the freezer most of the time with no ill effect to them whatsoever.
