Great for special swings that don't have good harware.
I bought this to mount a swing that takes a pretty good amount of repeated blunt force. It is mounted in a ceiling joist, and feels as solid as the roof of the house. The spring absorbs the right amount to make it smooth, just be careful not to bounce hard or the chain can come off the spring.

Very sturdy
