Delicious and filling! Tastes Like Chocolate Milk!
After reading some reviews before buying this for myself I was a little worried that I wouldn't like the taste, but it is delicious! It tastes like chocolate milk and it very blendable. I have tried protein powders in my blender that chunked up or didn't blend well but the EAS protein powder just mixed right up. I recommend adding the liquid first and then the powder, otherwise it would settle to the bottom a little bit. I can mix this protein powder with just about anything and it is delicious. I have tried it with coconut water and spinach, milk and bananas, banana and peanut butter. It has worked out well with any recipe and combination I have tried. The EAS Protein powder also helps curb my appetite. I would make a shake with it in the morning and wasn't hungry until mid afternoon. It eliminated my snacking before lunch. It is a great addition to a low carb lifestyle or to add some extra protein into your diet.

While this shake does not taste as good as the Slimfast ones
While this shake does not taste as good as the Slimfast ones, there is a GOOD reason for it. It does not have nearly as much sugar as the other protein shakes I've had. I drink this with milk in the morning and it keeps me fuller than Slimfast which is loaded with sugar. The chocolate tastes odd at first, but if you are fine sacrificing taste for results, I highly reccomend this brand. It has helped me loose 10 pounds by making me fuller longer.

Why do haters gotta hate?
I don't understand the bad reviews. The old formulation was much higher in calories per gram of protein than this. IN fact, this is one of the leanest out there, plus it's quite cheap. I like the taste, but have no idea what the other one tasted like to compare. Here's the kicker, if you do the math, the old formulation was less lean than their standard EAS Whey, gram for gram. I'm on a cut, and trying to maintain mass. This is the best product out there for what I'm trying to do. I use this and and my 7lb tub of Now Pea Protein, both deliver a lot of protein and little else in terms of calories, and together are very inexpensive. I used to spend a lot of $$$ on fat free Greek yoghurt to get similar results, and I'm getting more protein and less calcium (I don't want too much...). Because of these two products, I'm keeping my macros where I want them, and I can even fit in a little bit of real food intto my diet.So I guess haters gotta hate, but I think they're way off the mark with this one.

STAY AWAY!
If I could give it zero stars I would. I really liked the original product EAS Lean 15 and was so happy that I had a subscription for it. I only ever bought the vanilla, because I'm very wary of other flavors. it was great with shakes, the flavor wasn't over powering and it was easy to mix. It was good for daily use and I never got sick of it.WELL Amazon sneaked in this new product into my subscription without ever notifying me that I would not be receiving the same product. Anyway I opened this product and assumed it was just rebranding. I WAS WRONG! I read the instructions, which now required less product per ounce, and made my typical shake. As soon as I took a sip, I was so disappointed and disgusted. The shake I had always come to love betrayed me. The taste was super artificial and just overwhelming. It had a more chemical taste to it, and you could tell they added more sugar substitute or something to mask the flavor, which it didn't do well. I had to drink a lot of water following that attempt. I immediately poured it into the sink and walked away from the purple canister as soon as I could.Because I loved the original so much, I tried it a second time thinking I was being too harsh or maybe I was to blame for the taste (maybe too much powder or something?) (See how much I loved it to the point that I'm willing to blame myself) SO I tried it a SECOND time. BIG MISTAKE. This time I tried less than a tea spoon of it with a cup of almond milk, something I would do often with the original (except I would use more because I knew I could trust it). Well as I tried to stir this abomination, it just clumped up, it didn't dissolve as quickly as the other one, or better said it didnt dissolve for the most part. It wasn't even grainy, it was just gelatiny. After much stirring I gave up and put it through a fine mesh strainer to ensure that I didnt get too much of it in my mouth because by now I was a bit worried. Anyway, after this whole process I finally tried it and NOPE, not again. The taste was horrible, so I threw it into the sink and drank lots of water. I was so angry for putting myself through this ordeal. Will not be ordering any products from this company again, too traumatized. And now I have to find another brand I can trust although at this point I'm scared of another tasting similar to this.TLDR: Loved original, got this abomination in the mail. Tried it once, hated it so much. Thought I was in the wrong, tried again, and realized I needed to end this because I deserve better. Will likely never buy a product from them, and even if they brought the original back would not buy. Too traumatized to try another protein powder anytime soon.

Disappointed in new formula
The Lean 15 has been my go-to for years -- for price, calories, taste, effectiveness, everything. This has been my first tub of the new formulation, and I'm disappointed. The taste isn't as rich and chocolatey; it's kind of thin and watery. And it's impossible to mix thoroughly now -- I shake my blender bottle until my biceps bulge, and there are still gloppy chunks left. I'm also glad I checked the label, because I'm used to using two scoops of the old kind -- but this one takes only one. I'm not ready to bail on it yet, but I'd welcome suggestions on a replacement, again focusing on price point, calories, and taste.

Good product
This item does what it says. It curves my hunger, and keeps me full. I have a shake for breakfast and lunch and I'm am ok on hunger all day. The directions say to use 2 scoops for 8 to 10 oz of liquid, u would definitely agree if you use anymore it makes it to thick to stir. On the flavor. It tastes kinda sour when I use water but if I use unsweetened almond or cashew milk it taste like a liquid milkshake. π I would recommend this to anyone trying weight.

Mixes great in smoothies
This is the best protein powder that I have tried. I tried several different brands and once I tried this one I knew this was the one for me. I have tried both the vanilla and chocolate and they both have a great flavor. I use this daily in my smoothie. It completely mixes into the smoothie. There never are any clumps. I also add a scoop to my oatmeal once prepared. It mixes in smoothly and adds flavor and protein to the oats. The design of the container helps you get every last bit and there is no waste. There Is a holder for the scoop in the lid so you don't have to stick your fingers into the powder to search for it.
