Does exactly what it says and does it well
I have purchased four of these devices, so far. I have used them to add Optane drives to FreeNAS boxes - 2 Dell R710 devices, and 1 C2100. The fourth is on its way to be a boot drive for an old Gen6 i7 rebuild. The heatsinks seem to work great. I like that they take bus power, so easy to install in a server. Speeds are 100% like the m.2 was embedded on the board, itself. There is a thermal pad that goes on the top and bottom of your m.2 stick, and then it lays in a small metal channel. You then lay the heatsink over it and screw it together. It's a little odd, but straightforward once you recognize you're making a heatsink sandwich.Overall, I lone this little card. It woks great at a fantastic price point. I will update this review with details on making it a boot drive for my old gaming rig.
