LETHMIK Outdoor Waterproof Boonie Hat Wide Brim Breathable Hunting Fishing Safari Sun Hat

This is an extremely well engineered hat for the price. I have, and have had, many "safari" and "fishing" and "boonie" hats over the years. Different names but pretty much the same thing. I have actually worn some of these hats to the point that they disintegrated in the wash machine. Widest brim of any I have had. Chin string, but has an elastic adjust that would fit most heads just as snug or not as you like - so it isn't about to blow away. I had no problem setting it exactly the way I wanted. Ventilated. Snaps to keep the sides up. Comes squashed in a bag, so it might take a little to get the wrinkles out of it and bend into a proper shape. The only thing I wasn't really 100% with was the logo. If you blow up the picture and look real close you will see it has a logo on the front. It is really slightly more apparent than you see in the picture.

I bought this because I work outside on weekends, and needed a rainproof hat. It is indeed rainproof, and Id give it 5 stars, but i was in driving rain this weekend, and where the hat separates around crown for venting, it allows rain to leak in a bit. I would rather there was no venting 'window" around the top to allow water in.Still a good value for the price.

Purchased for Hubby to wear on cruise. He is very hard to please with hats, but he loves this one. Light weight, dries fast. Has chin strap as it is very windy on top of ship. Overall love it.

Had a problem getting this hat where I was ...but when I got it...... great. Fits well, adjustable to my small head and it was fantastic in the rain. The hat breathes as well, which is perfect for any weather. Love it! Bought it in Black and I really like it. I like it unsnapped better...

I'm quite pleased with this hat. Very lightweight, the snaps to keep the brim up on the sides work well and hold well. The size adjustment is nice, and the headband is the best I've found in this style hat. Also, the venting in the top works very well, yet in cooler temps doesn't allow your head to get too cool. This is the only boogie-style hat I've had that lets me fold it up the way it was when I got it and then take and hold its shape when I'm wearing it. I've worn boonie hats for years, all over the world in the military and afterward as an aircraft mechanic and this one is the best I've found so far.

I returned this item.PROS:Wide brim, and nice material. I would have kept the hat were it not for the cons.CONS:1. The hat is too "deep". It is for a large head. It came down over my ears and too far down my forehead. I usually wear 7 1/8 hats and this was HUGE. For comparison purposes I placed the hat next to some other Outdoor Research and FCS Surf Wet Bucket Surf/Water Hat.2. The plastic piece that is supposed to cinch the drawstring cord on the back of the head does not pinch the cord at all. It's totally loose, so the hatcould not be tightened against my head, and since it's one size fits all, the hat is unwearable.

I bought this hat for a recent trip to Florida and I loved it! It's lightweight, waterproof and gives good coverage to your face and neck. I also like that you can wear the flaps up or down to change the look. I highly recommend!

I bought this for my trip to death valley and I was impressed on how well it worked in the extreme heat(Just Remeber lighter colors are better for this). My head and face was well protected and the brim managed to keep its shape. Even with the surprise shower, It kept my head dry and cool. Though I am a person with a large head (7 1/2+) The hat's fit was snug, so before the trip I wore it around my house until it stretched out enough that it was comfortable.
