These are easier to tie on than I expected. Now that I know the technique, I can put them on my daughter's hair in just a few minutes. My girls (ages 12 and 9) absolutely love them. But, they don't stay in very long. Some of them have fallen out after only 1 day. I'm not sure if they would stay in longer if done professionally, but I appreciate the fact that I can replace them very quickly and easily in my own home. If I had paid to have these put in, and then they fell out, I'd be really annoyed at the waste of money and time. Being able to do it myself is the only way to go for our busy family. For less than the cost of getting it done professionally ONE TIME, I can put them in whenever we want, however many we want, and in whatever colors we want. The strands themselves are really pretty...very shiny. They really catch the light and look gorgeous in my daughters' hair. So far, the gold strands in my daughter's dark blond hair is my personal favorite, but the rainbow is really pretty, too. Surprisingly, the "royal blue" in my other daughter's medium brown hair much more subtle than I expected (you almost have to look for it to see it), but the silver and rainbow in her hair really "pop."

Love this tinsel, with proper application my guests are keeping them in for 4-5 weeks!

So much high quality hair tinsel...I should have this for the next 20 years. Takes a bit of practice to apply them correctly where they stay in but that’s all just practice and patience. I can not do this to myself in my own hair. I did this to my daughters hair and it lasted almost a week. It’s awkward dealing with 3 strands of hair and a piece of long hair tinsel but the results are fun and beautiful. Nice alternative to add a pop without hair dye.

Hairy fairy fun! Super easy and great price! Look up hair tinsel or hair fairy on youtube. Buy some lash glue to dot the knot. Comes with huge selection of tinsel and tool for insertion. I didnt use the combs. Many young girls loved the colors and beauty of the tinsel. Fast shipping and pretty box to contain everything in- just add scissors,comb and little clips! It's been 7 weeks for a few strands still in and the tinsel looks great!

These are definitely not what I anticipated for my niece.These tinsel air extensions are super long, and super soft, and the colours are all vibrant.But other than that, they aren't all that.They are held in the hair with loops (a cheap plastic loopy thing is included - it's like Latch Hooking). and they do NOT stay in thin fine hair. When we did manage to get the strands to stay for a few minutes, they were super long, so definitely need to be cut to length.The instructions do indicate you can use glue....but really using glue in hair at home is not something we are up to.Maybe for someone with thick hair these would work, but for our fine hair, not so much.
