Unfortunately I received a battery that was defective. Time to find another...12/09/2015 - UPDATE -I started a refund process since I didnt get the option of an exchange. About a day after my negative review, I received an email from the seller apologizing and saying they sent me out a replacement. That was cool. Just got it in. It does not have any visual defects/bulges. It was 40% charged. I charged it to 100% and it said it has about 1hr 10min of battery power. Not much. Then again, it is a generic battery. My setup is an X60 with an SSD drive. I'll let it sit and see how long it lasts just idling and I'll let it drain to about 10%. Then I'll charge it again and see if it lasts longer.Customer support was unexpected and great. Hopefully this battery lasts longer.

I would recommend purchasing this battery. I charge m laptop for a day before using and it display several hours with 100% power. Within 40 minutes or so, the percentage dropped form 100% to 67%, then to 55% and so on. New battery that last less than an hour. I got this battery the first week of November and only try it once. Not buy.

It does its job. Focusing on weight and size as a 4-cell replacement I don't expect to run on battery for more than an hour. With SSD running Windows10 it works perfectly for ad hoc sessions or act as an UPS when hopping between AC outlets.

I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review. Great battery!
