Did NOT detect a counterfeit $50 bill. Cannot recommend this machine. Had fresh batteries. Waste of money. Bank let me take a picture of the fake. See for yourself.

The build feels sturdy and professional, and it’s compact enough to fit neatly on a counter without taking up space. It’s been consistent in catching fakes and checking older bills without issues. Definitely gives peace of mind when handling cash throughout the day. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that the screen could be a bit brighter in low-light areas, and the power cord is shorter than I’d like. But overall, this is a dependable, well-made detector that works great for everyday business use. Highly recommended for anyone needing quick, accurate bill verification.

I bought it to verify fake us Monday bills and it seems the machine does not do the work at all . I used a fake money bill to test the machine and it gave me pass !! I did I it ten times and I got the same answer . I will contact Amazon to get a refund and return the machine .
