These are sturdy, not splintered, and work excellent for waxing. Much easier to evenly spread wax with these big ones than the smaller thinner ones. Work well for large areas like legs and under arms for waxing. Buy smaller ones if you are doing facial/eyebrow waxing. People have been saying to buy them at the craft store, but I think the craft stores charge more..at least in my area. And these are nicely packaged so you don't have all of them loose at once, like craft store packaging would be.

You better buy them in Walmart for much lesser price. Do not work reliable.
