A great instrument to produce ocean waves. It does produce calming sounds depending how you play them or the sound could be more of louder ocean waves clashing. The size is perfect if you wanted to play it with one hand but I rather hold it with my two hands.

I’m a music teacher and bought this for my random collection of unique instruments that students can explore. So far it’s held up to some vigorous shaking etc. Thank goodness because little metal beads would go everywhere if it cracked open. Students enjoy the range of sounds it makes from gentle lapping waves to loud cracks of thunder.

Bought one - loved it! Just like real ocean. If you close your eyes, you can almost feel the breeze on your face. And you control speed/strength of the waves. Amazing! Showed it to a lot of my students - everybody loved it. Decided to buy another one for a gift - horrible!!! The balls inside are completely different from the first one - darker, smaller (and maybe heavier). Only less than half of balls move around, the rest just stay by the walls. Doesn’t sound like ocean at all. Very disappointing. 5 stars for the first one - keeping it. 1 star for the second one - will be returning it.

This ocean drum is a perfect addition to my sound bath. It has a lovely calming sound that reminds me of ocean waves. Packaged nicely and arrived in perfect condition.

The media could not be loaded. I highly recommend. It’s fairly priced good quality. Makes such beautiful ocean like sounds. This is an instrument that I’d recommend for all ages. Babies & toddlers would enjoy this as well as “school aged” children. It’s also very relaxing and healing to listen to. It allows you to hear the smooth sounds of the ocean from the comfort of your own home. For the price I highly recommend!
