This failed due to the ceramic cover I purchased at the same was of poor quality
what more can I say, trouble free operation, no installation problems. The original I purchased failed prematurely I believe due to the ceramic cover I bought started to crumble exposing the thermocouple to excessive heat. I purchase a new one of these after 2 years ,2 months of failure. works perfectly and should last with proper cover.

Great part
Worked great for my 2014 quadrafire mt Vernon ae. Before I was getting a bad tc error on the controller screen. Easy install. About 10-15 minutes. Plugged right in.

Mt Vernon AE Insert
Fit better than oem part. Slightly longer lead and perfect connector end.. Sheathing over wiring seems better. Wires frayed causing oem part to fail. See if it lasts.
