Does what it's supposed to
I bought this to suck the water out of my pool lines. The gradated nozzle and soft material allows it to fit snugly in many different sized pipes. Works great!

Fits my Dewalt table saw
I was able to stretch this to fit my 2.5" OD port on the Dewalt 745 Table saw. Hooked it to my small shop vac with a 1.25" hose and it worked great.

I'd have been happier paying $5 apiece for these (bought 3) but well pleased anyway. They're made of durable rubber that'll never need replacing that can adapt to 4 different hose sizes. I'd definitely buy them again. To combine the suction power of 3 shop vac's collecting dust while cutting through plaster and lathe walls w/ an angle grinder. Insane dust. It's a tiny job but if this contraption works it'll pay for itself 10 times over. Wish me luck.

i bought this for a Kobalt portable table saw to transition to my super old shop vac with a no-longer-standard hose size
So, the first thing you have to know about this is that it's hard rubber, not plastic. i bought this for a Kobalt portable table saw to transition to my super old shop vac with a no-longer-standard hose size. It turned out the opening on my tablesaw was exactly the same size as the large end of this adapter. HOWEVER, the reason I'm giving it 5 stars, is that I cut four triangular pieces out of the large end, squeezed it together, shoved it as hard as I could inside the exhaust port on my tablesaw, AND IT ACTUALLY STAYED THERE without any tape or hose clamps or anything like that.TL;DR: I bought the wrong size, I should have measured twice, but 5 stars because I was able to make it work anyway.

great adapter for the m18 vacuum
The milwaukee m18 vacuum will fit inside the 2nd (or 3rd?) smallest opening, so I used a razor blade and cut it off there and have an adapter now that will let me inflate or deflate pool and tubing floats with ease from a portable pump solution. With it trimmed it down, it squeezes into a few spots in the top storage compartment of the m18 vac as well.

Does not fit 2-1/2
This adapter does not fit a 2-1/2" hose. Also, none of the other sections the opposite fit into my shop vac hose.

I buy these adapters to connect my Shop Vac to various power tool dust collection ports. When needed I cut the excess adapter narrowing down to allow for a great fit. So far I have connected a Dewalt DW705 miter saw, a Kobalt 10" table saw, and a Shop Fox 12" bench top drill press. I have also created a dust collection bin that sits in between these tools and the shop vac that uses this adapter.

Essential in the small workshop.
I have three of these now, and may stock a couple more to keep handy.Yes, they're a little large, and they're not cheap as chips. But they do fit just about everything I've needed to connect to my dust extraction system. They are nice 'n sturdy with just a little flexibility, which IMO is just the way they should be. There are a couple of applications where I can see they might end up being too long, but in that case I'll just cut off the excess and probably find a use for the off-cut somewhere too!**Update** my DC system ran out of suction over the weekend. These adapters were feeding the hose in and out of my cyclone separator. It turned out the narrowest part of the throat on one of these had choked on the fibrous strands my planer was throwing out. Since I was only using the largest diameter to snug into the cyclone, I just trimmed off the rest with a sharp knife, and sanded the lip down smooth. Now there's a nice wide aperture for the muck to flow through and I doubt I'll have further problems.

Worked for me.
This did a great job. I was dubious that it was going to fit at first but I cut down to the two steps I needed and dropped it into some nearly boiling water for a few minutes. After a bit of brute force I got it into the extractor port of my Evolution bench saw and now I didn't get tiny bits of sawdust in my eyes and nose when using the saw. It mostly gets sucked straight into an old (salvaged) Dyson cylinder vacuum. Good product, thanks.

Great adapter
Slightly flexible plastic so stretches slightly to get good fit. Shame no longer in stock!

Great quality item, both in material and design. A doddle to use and very effective.
