At first I gave this a 5 star rating based on the fact that it was sponsored by Amazon. I did not discover straight away that the two additional drives fitted did not work. When I tried to download software the whole of the C drive was full with preloaded software and I got messages saying insufficient room on disk. Clearly a manufacturing fault so I asked for a refund. The return was acknowledged but nothing more happened. It is some months now and apart from the occasional email nothing has materialised. I have contacted the amazon uk site but unless you fit into one of their drop down categories, which this does not, there is no help. Frankly I am surprised at amazon's poor standard of availability to their customers, even their chat line called bot only takes you round what you can find on their site for yourself, and I am surprised at this company being permitted to sell on their site. A simple email address requesting action should be available. Fusion has an email you can use but in our experience they only ask another question they already know the answer to.This seems to be the only way of communicating with amazon what I want to say so I have used it in the hope that my money will not have been wasted unnecessarily.

This was a first in buying a small lightweight laptop with no hard drive etc and not being a 'headline' brand so a little nervous BUT, the reviews were very good and other information and experiences appreciated too. It arrived quickly and the unpacking experience was very good, everything in place, instructions clear and easy to get through. There were the usual Windows system elements to plough through but you get that with anything in this field but it all happened seamlessly and fast. I have to admit to still having some nerves about the whole experience but was, in the first instance and now, a few weeks later, Still very very pleased with the whole thing. You would not know that you are using such a machine with these specs, it does everything that I need it to do quickly and efficiently and so far nothing to suggest a problem. It's size and more importantly weight has been really beneficial. The speed is good and it is all I need for everyday use and great value and the considerably lower cost than many others.

This is not "terrific download and upload speeds" claimed for the "super fast processor" in the description. Slower than all my other computers at boot-up, program opening, and linking through my 100+DL and 20+UL modem. Construction is lightweight but flimsy, so "brilliantly durable" it probably isn't... particularly noticeable is the trampoline-style lid. It doesn't have the good HD high resolution "amazing viewer experience" claimed; even the best produced videos (including Prime) have unacceptable smear, lack of clarity, and frequent jerkiness and buffering. The speakers are seriously useless: you can plug in headphones, but at full volume it's still quiet and tinny, and if you bluetooth or line out to an external speaker pod or amplified system you will still notice how poor the sound quality is, this probably because of the badly performing sound card. For me it took virtually 6hrs to fully charge the battery from flat. The battery itself has much lower charge life than most others in this price bracket. A small plus: the keyboard looks smart, with very comfortable and large low profile keys.Star number given for lack of quality and performance, not price. If you can fork out up to an extra £100 for a more quality brand you can certainly get more than the extra £100 bang for your buck.

This computer was bought for my daughters Christmas. I've only just found out that she hasn't been using it she still been using her grans laptop and this is due to it being extremely slow I mean extremely slow, once it finally loaded I went into the files it was running to see what was making it so slow and the files had dates on them for 2016 which is really strange when I order it at the end of 2019. Whilst it has been on charge it got extremely hot, that hot I had to unplug it before it burst into flames. It has been off charge for 2 hours now and it is still too hot to have on your lap. Everytime it gets turned on its updating which last time took 2 days. The computer must be possessed as when it finally is on it decided to close that window down and open others or it will freeze for ages. This computer I have been sold is nothing more than an extremely expensive paperweight as it does nothing it says on the tin.stay away from this at all cost. Looking more onto these files and there is already malware installed on this computer now this is amazing as the files where created b4 I even bought the computer

Haven't had a new lap top since Windows vista!!! So did a lot of homework on finding a good buy at reasonable price. New to Windows 10. Well we are well happy lightweight lovely clear screen and battery life good. Remember to leave for over 7hours before using even though temptation to use straight away. Keys are lovely and light to use. Speaker system bit quieter than what we would have liked. But add external speaker and was perfect. Only think struggling with is finding a external dvd reader to attach and use. But it's a Windows 10 problem not the lap top.. The price is good value. We got the 128gb. Also easy to power on and shuts down nice a d quickly.. So easy to set up. There will be lot of updates to start with. But that runs nicely in the background. So really pleased. Amazon delivery was quick.

The actual machine is fine for kids doing basic web surfing/youtube and simple games. The charger however is a different story. I have 2 machines, and both charges failed within 6 months. Chargers are apparently not covered under warranty, so you'll have to shell out another £25 for a replacement. I don't plan on doing that every 6 months, so am currently trying to source a more reliable replacement which will last for a reasonable amount of time. Poor show from fusion warranty.
