Children's Hand Wash Learning Kit

I bought this for a 4 year old who often forgets to wash his hands. It has been very helpful so far in reinforcing the hand-washing behaviors. He loves the songs and facts that this product plays, especially the ones that correspond to the elephant soap container. This dispenser is very cute and fun for kids - I think it would also be a great gift for parents of a child learning hand-washing. The best part, to me, is that the songs or facts that play when soap is dispensed take enough time to actually allow the child to do a better job washing since the child wants to stay in front of the sink to hear the whole message.

When the hand wash kit was received, liquid soap was all over inside the box and on the product. I sent the entire kit back and it was only replaced by one bottle of soap. Since only the bottle of soap was replaced and the rest of the kit returned it was useless.

I liked it fine, but the music stopped the second time we used it. I didn't care at the time because my kid was so excited about the lights that it wasn't important, but now that she's starting to "forget" to use soap I wish I'd reported it right away. It would have been a useful feature to have to know if she was using it when we aren't in the bathroom with her.(and yes, I checked, double checked and triple checked the switches and batteries)

As many have said, mine arrived leaking and with the base lights on. Fortunately for me, it wasn't much and I cleaned it up (due to time restraints) and repackaged it for my nephew. This is not an Amazon issue. They package the item off the their store room shelves. This is a seller issue. The inner packaging is inadequate, particularly for an item with liquids in it. The outer 'Amazon' packaging was adequate and up to their usual quality. However, the product is a very nice way for kids to learn proper hand washing. My daughter-in-law, being a nurse loved the concept for her toddler and he loves using it. I've written the seller and Amazon, but warning to all, order early in case you do have to return the item.

I have a 6 year old, 4 year old, and 2 year old. The two oldest always scrub their hands quickly and not very thoroughly. You are actually supposed to go through the whole cleaning process-- scrubbing and rinsing-- while the music and talking is going on, but that doesn't seem very long to me, especially with how the kids wash their hands. Instead, I tell the kids that they should be scrubbing while the music or talking is going on. Now, the kids understand that they need to scrub the entire time and when the music/talking stops, the will rinse. Their hands are now much cleaner than they used to be and the kids love the songs and talking. Sometimes, the dispenser will teach how to say hello or goodbye in different languages and I've caught my kids repeating the greetings.Packaging of the product is poor. Like another who has reviewed the product, one of the soap bottles leaked all over inside the box. I picked up the near empty elephant bottle and the cap wasn't even twisted onto the bottle. Also, the base was wobbly so every time we dispensed soap, the base would wobble and sometimes the whole thing would tip over. I contacted the company who promptly replace the bottle and base. The new base does not wobble and feels more like a quality product. It also doesn't tip over when dispensing soap. Awesome customer service from the company.

This is a great tool to teach toddler the importance of washing hands. I purchased this for my three-year-old toddler and she loved it !!! It comes with three soaps dispensers each one giving educational facts for example the The elephant one gives great facts about animals and sings songs as it lights up with blinking lights. The alphabet blocks teaches The ABC's and other educational things. The glob does the same. Although the soap is not antibacterial I find it nice and mild for little hands. I also like the fact that they are refillable with any soap you like to use. I recommend this highly.

When we received this in the mail, only one bottle worked. The base was already broken and didn’t work with the other two bottles. A couple weeks in, the remaining bottle only works every 10th time or so. I’m sure that soon it won’t work at all. I was very excited about this, as a potty training treat for my daughter, but we ended up being disappointed.

The base in which the music plays has three buttons for each of the dispensers to press to play music. Only one out of the three buttons worked. This was a little discouraging as this was my second time purchasing this product. The first time I purchased the one of the soap dispensers had leaked all over the box so I had to return. This time product did not completely work. Great idea just needs a little more work.
