Does what it says
Very easy to use and sharpens knives very well. My knives were very blunt having not been sharpened for a couple of years. I used these on all of them and they all were very sharp by the end of the process. It takes about 20-30 actions to get a really good edge but as I said mine were quite blunt. My only criticism is they is no instruction manual. There are some basic instructions on the packaging but I was not sure if I had to use all the slots for each knife. It was a bit of trial and error but overall I would highly recommend this knife sharpener easy to use and gives a good result.

Great product poor instructions
After weeks of my teenage children moaning about how rubbish my kitchen knives are I bought this product.Read the instructions on the box (probably written by the company in the Netherlands the product is sold by) rather than the awful bit of paper that comes inside (probably written by the Chinese manufacturer).I have sharpened a pair of scissors and three knives in about 5 minutes. A true test for me is if a knife slices through a tomato and I can say success on all of them. I didn't try and cut the tomato with the scissors but they cut through kitchen roll paper really nicely.Note to self though - try to buy more euro made stuff rather than 'made in China'.

Very easy to use and effective, knives are as good as new now. Portable size, does not take up much room in the cabinets.

Good enough
I found it very confusing, that the little note inside with instructions said to sharpen by pushing and pulling, whereas the instruction on the package clearly stated that only use with one direction. Confused.Also I would like my knives to be even sharper than I can get them with this device, but it is better than nothing.
