Great value for the money. They look and feel like real coins…about the weight of a penny. I’ve used these for decorating, party gift bags, and set decorating.

Planned a treasure hunt for my nephew's 6th birthday party and I used a treasure chest I bought here on Amazon to hold these fake gold plated zinc coins, as well as some National Geographic real fossils, gemstones, geodes, quartz crystals, among other interesting natural items that I thought he'd be interested in. He's big into dinosaurs, fossils, discovery, exploration, and digging things up!I bought these coins because they are real metal, they make that klink sound when you handle them and they set off a metal detector. They come in a felt bag that fits in the palm of your hand. As the product name says, there's only 35 coins in the bag, these are true to size so they are about the size of nickels, you're gonna wanna buy several bags if you want a lot of them to fill up a chest or similar box.I hid the treasure chest and created a treasure map using clipart images that looked like real landmarks around his house that I knew he'd be able to identify, I put it all together with PowerPoint, and printed it on brown card stationary to give it that aged look. I placed the treasure chest keys, map, and one gold coin inside a small puzzle box that I also bought here on Amazon, and gave it to him wrapped up as a present, just to boost the excitement and wonder.I didn't want to get too carried away with hiding the chest because it was 90-something degrees and humid the day of his birthday party, so I left it above ground, behind a tree. He was very excited to go on an adventure to find treasure!I secretly wish we had these real metal coins when I was a kid, we had the crappy plastic ones where the paint would wear off with use. These look real, feel real, especially to a kid. If you have kids with interests similar my nephew's, I highly recommend these coins for imaginative play.Maybe even use them as a way to learn about spending and saving money, instead of the risk of using (and losing) the real thing. Pay them for chores, or reward them for good behavior, have them pay you for perks or treats when they want something. If they loose these fake coins, oh well, they're worth less than the real thing.

I won't give it less stars for the simple fact they are smaller than I imagined. I ordered the medium size coins which is the size of a nickel. Still very satisfied with my purchase and great quality. I will get more just in a bigger size.

This item, fit my Halloween costume and it was a success. Actually wish I ordered two packs. The coins actually had some weight to them. Good price

Excellent item. Had a lot of fun hiding the leprechaun gold and even more fun watching the kids hunt for it.

These are solid and have good weight, but are much smaller than the whack photoshop attempts at the product images. That random girl with pink hear must be a leprechaun for these to be that big compared to her hand. The video goes out of its way to make sure there is no hand in the shots where the coins are shown.Man, they're little coins. Just have a to scale picture and don't play dumb games. Fix the photos and I'll change my review to 5 star.That said, I'm gonna buy a few more bags for my ****ing swear jar. These are great.
