This set has every 1/2" drive socket that you're likely to ever need short of something extremely large. The fit-and-finish of the tools is top-notch, the 90-tooth ratchet is very smooth, and the case is durable. Overall an excellent value for a super-nice socket set. Do note that the full case weighs over 40 lbs and it covers a lot of real estate when opened flat so it isn't very handy to carry around and work out of. I knew this before buying and it isn't a problem for how I will use the set in the shop and around the farm but some folks might do better with several smaller sets if easier portability is important.

It seems as if they are an great value the build quality and chrome finish are good. T would equate them to your dads old craftsman tools before the went to hell in hand basket. I would call the entry/mid level professional tools.

This is the most complete set of 1/2” drive chrome sockets both metric and standard sets. I wouldn’t recommend trying to keep all the sockets in the case and carry around the case is super heavy with all the sockets in it. Great set to fill up a shop cart or road box. Definitely recommend it.

The sockets breaker and swivel are stout, I must have gotten a faulty produced ratchet because unfortunately it broke shortly after starting use however the Tekton customer support shipped me a new one at no cost at all with zero questions asked and it arrived promptly. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely purchase Tekton products again.

Have this big set to keep handy just incase I need to use it, haven’t touched it in months and no rust. Love them

This set is awesome! The case it comes in is as durable as the tools themselves. The case and the tools are clearly marked so picking the right tool up is easy. This set has all the sockets you will need from small to very large SAE and Metric. I have had to replace a Tekton tool once and the process was easier than taking one back to the store. Just a picture and an email and in less than a week I had the replacement. I put these tools through very hard use and they stand up. If your considering a tool set, this one is top of the line and you may never have to purchase another.

I have purchased many Tekton socket set ranging from 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2, drive socket sets. The quality is of professional standards for the automotive repair industry as a professional technician. I have been using Tekton for the last 4yrs with heavy abuse, With no damage or wear. Great set with a nice sturdy case, engravings are clear even when dirty. Well made and very precise. Top quality, on par with my snap on sockets

When I first received this item I was extremely dissatisfied. The item was clearly a used item and void of it’s original packaging, and packed in a generic Amazon box. When I opened the socket set, sockets spilled on the floor and there were pieces and sockets missing from the set. Items like the ratchet had fingerprints on them.I ordered a replacement, and Amazon quickly shipped it to me. I couldn’t be happier with the replacement. The set was shipped in a Tekton cardboard box, the socket set inside was held closed with a black zip tie (similar to the other Tekton socket sets I’ve ordered). Inside the socket set there was a removable cardboard divider keeping everything in place and scratch free during shipment. Everything in the new set was as I would expect from Tekton. The set is of excellent quality and is comparable to much more expensive sets.At the end of the day I’m really happy with my purchase. Amazon quickly rectified the issues I had with the original set shipped to me and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this or other Tekton products.*As a side note, the first two images are of the original set shipped to me and the third is the replacement.

Amazing product! I’m a farmer and this set has been perfect for all sorts of work. The fact that there are no skipped sizes in deep and shallow is unbelievable and the range of sizes makes this set a must have. The included breaker bar is a great bonus.

The amount of wobble on everything in the kit is horrible, i also bought the 3/8 kit which ill be returning as well. I do not recommend this
